The Virus - Are You Affected?

All I see is a blank post from ZiprHead. I don't get it.
It appears to be a person throwing a fit over being told to wear a mask, though, they are tossing stuff out of their grocery cart at the register. So they already spent time at the store without a mask. It is hard to hear what she is saying other than not giving a fuck.

Granted, the other issue is that she has a full cart and is in the Express Lane.

So in the end, who the heck knows.
I read somewhere she entered the store with a mask, then took it off to shop. They told her to put it back on or she would not be served.
She took the high road, obviously.

If i worked retail, i might get a few of these. I imagine flashing it feels as good as slipping someone else the Queen of Spades in Hearts.
Sounds like a good response too! They show you that card, you show them the Queen of spades. If they say that'll just help them 'shoot the moon', then tell them you still have a two of hearts. At that point, neither side is feeling good about where things are going. Then you pick up the phone, call security and tell them the person was caught trying to steal jewelry.

*getting thrown out*

"But you don't even sell jewelry!"

While i play with hearts and the Queen of spades, my minion slips the Acevof Diamonds into her bag. She's now a diamond thief...

LA County supervisors have arbitrarily closed down the LA County beaches again for the upcoming July 4th holiday. This includes bike paths and walking trails. Yeah, closed 7/3 through 7/6. I'd like to see the science behind this decree.

I liked it better when every awful person was not called a Karen, and they had specific names to the situation, like Barbecue Becky and Permit Patty.

I dub this one Covidiot Caryn. :)

Thanks. It sounds like something I saw but didn't play on RawStory. Strange how I can't see the content in ZiprHeat's posts sometimes.

Why? I mean really, why? To what end might it serve?

Some people just like to use the word "arbitrarily." It makes them all giddy and happy inside.

How else should one describe the decision ?

You don't need a scientific study to realize that beaches in a crowded metropolitan area will be impossible to enforce social distancing rules. The consequences of not doing that are very predictable if you watch the news lately. Well, unless you're from Nebraska.

Fake news.

Karens aren't lovely, period, no matter what they look like. Thus there's no such thing as a lovely karen, thus this must be fake.

All I see is a blank post from ZiprHead. I don't get it.

It's a twitter video, titled "Lovely young Karen throwing a fit over being asked to wear a mask..."

Karen behavior is a total turn-off to me, I'm not interested no matter how nice they look.

They're going to be way too crowded otherwise, and people aren't wearing masks.

"Karen" doesn't cover all awful people. "Karen" refers to the self-important types who don't think the rules apply to them and make a big issue out of it, like the woman in the video throwing the stuff out of her cart all over because she was told to wear a mask.

In Norway, Gymgoers Avoid Infections as Virus Recedes - The New York Times

Going to the gym seems very risky to me, being around a bunch of heavy breathers in enclosed space, I don't know if I will do it, but this report is some good news. They looked at a couple thousand gymgoers and nobody got infected after two weeks. The gyms had distancing requirements in the classes and regular equipment cleaning but there was no mask requirement. The main caveat they gave is that Oslo has low incidence already, so results may vary with higher background rates. I still would like to see a longer term study, 2 weeks is not much, especially for something you want to do a few times a week indefinitely. They said they are planning bigger studies, including looking at gyms with no restrictions.

In Copenhagen the law is that you need to use hand alcohol between stations, and you need to wipe them down. It works great. Also, I think it's a rule we should always have. I love it. So clean and nice now
