Trump VS COVID-19 Threat

That's not very nice. Just imagine the outrage if Trump said that all Democrats should drink bleach.

I'm sure you would say that is not nice behavior.

Far too many people are being far too nice about the fact that your nation is being run by an insane person with a cult following.

It's well past time for everyone to stop being nice, and to hold this lunatic accountable for his dangerous and irresponsible behaviour.

Trump has destroyed any basis there might have been for respecting the office of President; It's no longer justifiable to be polite to the fuckwit who is either deliberately killing his own citizens, or is lethally incompetent. Those people who remain in official positions, but who fail to speak up in an unequivocal and frankly undiplomatic way against their idiotic leader are complicit in the massive harm he continues to do to your nation and its citizens.

Fuck being nice. Being nice to people who pose an existential threat to you is fucking stupid.

I will repeat this again but it constantly gets ignored because you can't refute truth.

When Trump enacted his travel ban, the U.S. had 0 deaths from the virus. ZERO. ZILCH. NADA. And he still banned travel. That was January 31.

About a month later on Feb 27, Pelosi told us we should have a parade in Chinatown. About 2 weeks later on March 9, Fauci said you can go party on cruise ships if you're healthy. NY Times was saying the virus is no big deal. All media sources were saying the virus is no big deal.

Everyone was saying it was no big deal except for Trump, who enacted the travel ban. You guys are rewriting history. Nothing more, nothing less.

The left and their friends and allies in the Islamic world have been re-writing history for many decades. It's nothing new Half-Life! Here's a way to enrage the anti Trump love fest participants here. A soon to be released new book by Australian/American author Nick Adams. Titled " Trump and Churchill defenders of Western values and it's very civilization itself. I quote the burb from Amazon about this forthcoming book.

"Trump and Churchill both fought valiantly to protect Western Civilization, and while fighting different forms of tyranny, Trump could very well be to the twenty-first century what Churchill was to the twentieth.

What do Winston Churchill—the eloquent, eternally quotable wordsmith, pudgy politician of fifty years, wealthy aristocrat, war-time Prime Minister of England—and Donald Trump, the 6’4”, brash, Twitter happy, political neophyte, billionaire entrepreneur—have in common?

In his new book, complete with never-before-told anecdotes, bestselling author Nick Adams explores how both leaders, with seemingly nothing in common, turned their day’s prevailing politics on its head.

In doing so, they both endured shockingly similar battles instigated by the political establishment seeking their destruction.

Trump and Churchill’s unorthodox approach to both domestic and international relations has rescued Western Civilization from the brink. "

End quote.

Would that be the same Trump who suggests injecting disinfectant, or does he have a namesake?

Yes the very same Trump that's loathed by CNN [ who immediately took the disinfectant quote out of context ] and most notably by most right here in this tread.

I haven't read or watched any CNN in ages. The stupid is right there folly contextualized, I watched the segment myself.

I also watched the segment as presented to me by the left leaning ABC here. Where in that segment is the Trump suggesting people ingest disinfectant? He did keep repeating for people to see their doctors though. The quote has been taken completely out of context, and if one is honest enough he/she would see/hear that! " Why can't something like Dettol which kills a virus in a minute be made that could be ingested with the same results." Is not suggesting people ingest the stuff to kill the virus!

1 in 5 people tested in New York City had antibodies for the coronavirus

In New York City, around 21% of randomly sampled people had antibodies against the coronavirus

As I suspected - the spread of the virus vastly out-paces the disease. This is probably great news, and the mortality rate could be as low as only a few times that of the seasonal flu.

If the actual infection rate among the entire population is similar to the early sample infection rate they found of 13.9%, it would change the death rate of the state, Cuomo said. New York is reporting 15,500 COVID-19 deaths, and if 2.7 million people were infected, that would mean the death rate would be 0.5%, Cuomo said.
OTOH -
it is still not known whether or not these people are now immune to it.

It would seem obvious that this is a question that urgently needs to be answered. It's just a shame that the Trump Crime Family is so opposed to truth simply because it is the truth, that even good news needs to be suppressed. But once someone can explain to Cheato how extremely widespread testing could exonerate him and make him a national hero by November, he'll be all over it claiming nobody knew, he was the first to put it together, nobody knows more about it than him etc. etc.

Interesting take. Deranged TDS, but interesting. Haven't seen this much spin since I saw someone spinning a basketballl on one finger.

Is it important to you that you defend President Trump for everything he says? Is it not possible to say, "I support Donald Trump because I agree with his economic policies, or his position on foreign affairs (or whatever) but he shouldn't have suggested that people take caustic cleansers internally."

I would not fault you for that. I voted for Barack Obama twice, but I didn't support every thing he did. Nor did I try to wave away his occasional verbal mistake as just sarcasm, or just trolling the press.

But when someone says, "Oh no, my President is being attacked--I must defend him!" it makes that person look foolish. As foolish as a Young Earth Creationist insisting that every word in the Bible must be correct or else. It's a sign of binary thinking.

You know as well as I, patriotism is a word; and one that generally comes to mean, my country, right or wrong, which is infamous, or my country is always right, which is imbecile.

Here's the context again for ya.

:hysterical:

The context was so great that yesterday was the first time Trump did not take any questions at his daily hazardous misinformation briefings.

CNN telling it like it is.

That fits the definition of a suggestion almost precisely. At least now I understand why you just spam from right wing hate sites. You're pretty shit at this whole making a valid argument thing on your own. It's also highly, highly highly doubtful you watch ABC or any news for that matter given your proclivities towards editorials

If they start pulling at that thread, their world will unravel.

The idiot asked whether his doctors would look into:

1) shining light on people to kill the virus
2) whether disinfectant could be used to kill the virus in people’s bodies

This is only negligibly better than telling people to do those things!

Is it important to you that you defend President Trump for everything he says?

Defend? Not really.
Someone spent a long time teaching Halfie a three-letter acronym "TDS". Now it's his one-size-fits-all response to any observation of Trump's neurotic behavior, and he's determined to wear it out. I have yet to see any actual defense for the actions of the dunce, or any of the Trump Crime Family.

Quick question....if Bonespurs did NOT suggest people take disinfectant to kill the virus, why is he now insisting he said it sarcastically?

I love that movie and have watched it many times. But I don't recall that line. Is it in the book?

Reality: It looks like someone who was infected attended CES. I don't know the exact date but it's in early January. I've been there, it's wall-to-wall people--and there are the badges. You wear them the whole time you're there, if you want information from a company you hand them your badge--one hell of a vector. About the only worse situation I can think of for mass spread was the big dinner in Wuhan just before this blew up. The horses were truly fled at that point.
