Dems/Liberals had their "Yes we can!" Candidate, it's only fair the repubs/conservatives get theirs next.
Except Trump isn't about 'we" at all. He's the "yes I can" candidate.

An environment where people associate a set of beliefs with public consternation doesn't cause them to change their viewpoints, but instead just sends them underground until the time is right
