If the election results continue as they've gone so far, Trump will not just win. He'll win in a landslide. He'll have a mandate and both houses of Congress behind him.


Do you seriously think he won't at least try to build a wall? Round up all the immigrants? Deny Muslims entry into the country? Pack the court with judges committed to rolling back gay rights and Roe v Wade?

What election prediction are you watching, it seems to be hours behind everyone else? Michigan is going to Trump, NH to Clinton.

I understand that US has agreement with Brazil which will let americans in in case of Yellow Stone type of disaster. This could be qualified as such I think.

Pence is to Trump what Cheney was to Bush? I have to admit I didn't pay any attention to Pence, but I would imagine that Trump's ego means he'll shove Pence to the side. Didn't he only pick him as a VP to get the evangelical vote anyway?

Build a wall? He can try.

If he does something retarded along the lines of gay rights or abortion, it would guarantee that not only will he be a one term president, but the GOP would never recover after the backlash. The religious nuts can't even get states like Oklahoma to pass their dumbass restrictions on abortion.

So the let em' try it.

Crazy, given that the predictions were a landslide of Johnson/Goldwater proportions for Hillary. Ironic, given that she is former Goldwater girl. That said, I think the results will tighten as the night goes on - Michigan, Wisonsin, still a lot to play for.
Also, you can't blame Trump for this. He did everything in this power to take a dive. Blame the Democrats not only for nominating Hillary, but for deciding 8 years ago to nominate her, effectively making it impossible for any maianstream candidates to make a challenge against her, leaving it to a geriatric "socialist" to make a valiant effort.

I do not think he cares about abortion or denying gays anything. But we should do something about illegal immigration (which you for some reason equate with immigration in general). And while we should not deny Muslims in general entry, no Islamists should be allowed in. We should not be like Europe that let all and sundry in and now has to conduct terrorism raids all the time.

This is what I am thinking. If he wins, and it looks like he is going to, and he does what he said he would, it will be 4 bad years and then a landslide whiping out republicans maybe for good.
