US President 2016 - the Great Horse Race

Why didn't PPP also ask how many Democratic voters (most of them black in SC) believe blacks are the superior race. I doubt you would get a lower number.
Yeah...one group's fighting for their superiority, one's fighting for basic equality. Those are probably just two faces of the same coin.
Black supremacists (for example, there is a radio station in Atlanta, WAOK 1380 kHz which is overtly black supremacist) are not "fighting for basic equality".
As long as there is double standard excusing and defending black racism and black supermacism true racial equality will not be achieved.

In that PPP poll, Trump also got the highest share of anyone's voters who also said: they wished the South won the Civil War, want Islam outlawed, want Muslims banned from coming to the US (80%!), want gays banned from coming to the US, support Japanese internment during WW2, and support the Confederate flag at the capitol (70%!).

On the other hand, he only came in second of those who prefer their barbecue sauce with a mustard base.

One interesting result in this poll is that Rubio about ties Trump in a head to head. Cruz loses against either.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- A new poll finds that roughly a third of voters say they are "scared" of the prospect of either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton receiving their party's presidential nomination.

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2016...ton-nomination/8671455661123/?spt=hs&or=tn_us

A Trump nomination scared 62 percent of surveyed Democrats, 17 percent of Republicans and 33 percent of Independents. A Clinton nomination scared 60 percent of Republicans, 8 percent of Democrats and 35 percent of Independents.
By contrast, Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vt., wouldn't scare so many of those surveyed. Thirty one percent said they would be "satisfied" if Sanders won the Democratic nomination.
...
Broken down by party, 45 percent of Republicans are scared of a Sanders nomination, while 12 percent of Democrats and 28 percent of Independents share that feeling.

Given Sander's campaign promises about increasing federal research into zombie viruses, that's a bit foolish of them to not be scared because there's a good chance that that's going to end up going terribly wrong and we'll have hordes of the undead rampaging around if he gets into the White House.

That campaign promise has been grossly misrepresented in the media. It's solid Keynesian viral research: at times of intellectual slump, the government should stimulate demand for brains.

Latest NBC/WSJ poll now has Ted Cruz leading Trump by +2. 28% Cruz, 26% Trump.

Outlier or the future of the GOP race?

Latest CNN/ORC Nevada poll shows has Sanders and Clinton is tie, Clinton leads only by 1%.

This is a national poll. It appears to be an outlier. Carson is 2.5x on Bush.

If there is equality of opportunity, but unequal results, this is normal.
If we sort by IQ we get Ashkenazi, Asian, white, black. If we sort by athletic ability it reverses. Musical ability sees little difference.

Yet, any given individual cannot be judged by any group membership. They may not be typical. Some white boys can jump, some black boys cannot.

I don't disagree with anything you wrote here. However, I fail to see significance to what I wrote, which is about our double standard of rightly condemning white racism but giving a pass to black racism.

Looks Like der Trump has picked a bitter fight with the Pope of all people. This is going to be fun. Can Trump win by losing a lot of the Catholic vote? Or will the Pope use this as a teaching moment?

Trump's site said:
If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally wise to them. The Pope only heard one side of the story - he didn’t see the crime, the drug trafficking and the negative economic impact the current policies have on the United States. He doesn’t see how Mexican leadership is outsmarting President Obama and our leadership in every aspect of negotiation.

For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith. They are using the Pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant.
I'd call that a rather mild attack and hardly 'picking a fight'. If anything, it seems a bit silly, claiming the Pope is questioning his "faith". Silly on the level that Trump isn't all too religious, and this Pope, in general, isn't being anything but inclusive (pretty much making lightyear ahead of its time for the Vatican statements).

A Republican National committeewoman from Nevada said Monday that she believes both Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) are ineligible to run for President.

Diana Orrock tweeted that "Rubio and Cruz are ineligible," alongside a link to a blog post from conservative activist Devvy Kidd:
Kidd's column, posted on the conservative online outlet News With Views, contends both men are ineligible to run for President. Kidd argues Rubio is ineligible because she says his parents weren't naturalized as American citizens until Rubio was four years old. She further argued that Cruz is ineligible because his father wasn't a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth in Calgary, Alberta, although his mother was American.

More fun coming up.

At least that's being principled about birtherism.

Do any of the birthers regret ever having brought that issue up?

The GOP have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot don't they! Surely their must be someone in their party who stands above the present lot of no hopers!
