why white western christians converting to islam?

the REAL reason so many white western christians converting to islam

Not all that many. But three main clusters of reasons, I think (could also be combinations, though 1) and 3) are somewhat incompatible) for those who do:

1) contrarian, former Left-wing-leaning, wants to stick it to the West;

2) prudish, sick of materialism, likes the ethos and rules; or

3) likes the profound/mystical aspects in the Koran and in Sufism.

You really ought to try learning to read, Syed. It'll make these things go a lot faster.
He's saying that women who want to be modest do not have to convert to Islam in order to be modest.
Meaning your claim is just a pile of shit, not that women are stupid.

i miss read him
lol
You made a point of highlighting the part you made a point of misreading.
Still pushing that steaming pile, Syed.

It is interesting how the real effects of Dunning Kruger manifest, isn't it?
Not really.
Instead of writing a Mary Sue fanfic, Syed just thinks he lives one online.

Perhaps these individuals suffer from an authoritarian personality disorder and have difficulty coping with moral ambiguity. They are probably insecure, submissive individuals with a need for clear, unambiguous rules and an unquestioned authority figure -- or book.

You are real good with your hammer spotting the nail that didn't quite get knocked all the way in, then hitting it on the head.

To my knowledge there is no massive flocking of white males to Islam...especially atheists and agnostics. Syed does this kind of post every now and then, I suppose just to rankle us.

I don't think 1 and 3 are that incompatible.
Think of it on a more personal scale. I can easily magine a college student saying:
There are three religions i could convert to that have some degree of appeal. Islam mysticism makes sense to me, although Catholic ritual calms me, and of course, Hindu has the free-for-all carnival of colours at Holi.

If i pick Catholic, Mom will say i'm dating the Whore of Babylon.
If i pick Hindu, Mom and Dad will say i'm experimenting with Satan.
If i pick Muslim, the whole family will say i turned my back on God AND i hate America. Bonus score!

If Islam is so universal, why are sunni's and shia murdering each other? It seems Islam isn't even compatible with itself.
70 years ago white christians/ atheists killed 100 millions other white people + 6 millions jews, are white compatible to eachother?
So you think the absurd rivalry between Sunni and Shia isn't an indication there are issues within the universal religion of Islam?

It started with James one department over. I thought it was just a fluke when the formerly Christian guy said he was fasting for Ramadan, but then three days later he and his entire department is fasting. They're all thirsty and lightheaded from not eating from sunup to sundown, and no one can get anything done. Work is piling up.

I went to my boss, to see what we could do, after all, I have to wait for their work to be done to start mine, but the woman in the cubicle just kept asking me if what I wanted to do, like I was the boss. Then she kept asking me if I could escort her to lunch, because she shouldn't driver herself or be seen outside without a man. I think it was my boss, it sounded like her voice, but I couldn't really tell through the beekeeper outfit she was wearing for some reason.

So, I went to HR to file a complaint. The scent of incense hit my nose, and my ears perked up to this weird twangy music and yodeling as I stepped off the elevator. As I rounded the corner, I noticed the usual glass door was gone, replaced by a beaded curtain. I parted it and went through. Inside it looked like a Turkish bazaar. I tried to get everyone's attention, but they were kneeling down and bowing and mumbling on these little carpets. At first I joined them - I thought maybe someone had lost a contact lens, but it turns out that something else was up, because no one would talk to me.

I'm a little rattled by now, so I went to accounting, I need to know my paycheck is coming, but I was told it had been donated to some charity because of some pillar or something? I don't get it.

Guys, I'm scared, what's going on? As I sit here typing this there's an occasional like, yelp or something, and someone will yell "Holla Backbar" or something? I tried to Google what's going on, but apparently there's no "UnIslamically approved content" on the Internet now?

Just relax and take a deep breath.

It sounds like you're suffering from a not-uncommon condition known as "apostasy". It's caused by rejecting the truths delivered to us by Allah through his great prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and becoming a close-minded, slavish whore to Satan. No need for you to worry because there's nothing about it that a good stoning can't cure and there's some people on the way over as we speak.

i am very happy with allah / islam and we are winning this battle

There is no battle.

It's like a little kid flailing his arms at a professional wrestler; it may seem like an epic battle to the kid, but to the wrestler it's either cute or just annoying.

Which battles? Iraq? Syria? NIgeria? Afghanistan? Somalia? As the Quran says, Allah leads who he will lead and leads astray who he will lead astray. Who's winning what?

let me tell you what is the REAL reason so many white western christians converting to islam

1) trinity makes no sense

2) they turned to atheism or agnosticism

3) without religion they enjoy materialism and sex with multiple partners
4) bored with materialism and sex

5) became depressed

6) want to go back to religion for peace of mind

7) christianity makes NO sense

8) search all other religions except islam

9) then studies islam

10) found answer to their life long questions

11) bow to allah

I am not expert on my follow man but I can say with absolute certainly that alot of people would be totally fine with having sex with multiple partners. A religion that says that sex wiht multiple partners is wrong does not make that religion sound appealing.

Mahoggianism does NOT say sex with multiple partners is wrong if you're a man. Only if you're a woman. If you're a man you can have sex with four wives and all the slaves you own, and the hogs in your pigpen.

Syed does not know the rules of his own death cult.

Why is so many Muslims going to Christianity in Indonesia? And, anybody who really wants to become Jewish can go through the process. There are many Jewish converts.

Not to mention there's the whole 40 virgins thing in heaven; which seems like an odd thing to promise people that converted because they didn't want to have sex with multiple partners.

Well, really, the virgins aren't 'partners' in any real sense of the word.

Maybe that was the issue? Multiple sexual contacts who could have said no? I can see why Syed would think that was something he'd get tired of....

Or 40 sexual conquests who can gauge the man's skills and equipment with respect to other lovers? Trevanian said Muslim men can't stand comparison because they can't stand up to comparison.

Ya, you get to rape a bunch of sex slaves. It's a mistake to think about them as you would human beings since they're actually only women.

lol, I get you, but by 1) I was thinking more of the serious political activist type. They're usually materialist and don't go for mystical stuff. I don't think you'll find 3) people going on jihad, they just write the kinds of books you find on the New Age or comparative religion shelf, and they're very much against terrorism.

There's a certain progression in some Left wing thinking that goes from the Left's apparent failure either towards Green (the "Watermelon" Greenie - i.e. "the rot in the West is even deeper than we thought, deeper than economics per se"; this can even go towards primitivism, outright rejection of the very concepts of technology, division of labour, etc.) or towards Islam ("hey, they look like they're actually DOING something about the West", i.e. jumping on a horse that looks like it's doing well, as opposed to beating a dead one).

1) is made more reasonable by the fact that (at least two that I know of) the founders of Islamism in the mid-20th century were themselves influenced by Marxism-Leninism, i.e. their critique of the West is already couched in terms congenial to a Left-wing thinker.
