When there was talk of a Palestinian state and peace Israel would say who in this state will ensure security?


Hams and Fatah fought a civil war for power having nothing to do with Israel. Hams ran Gaza, Fatah West Bank. There was supposed to be free elections but neither side would be willing to give up power.

Yea I think. I have been focusing on Israel taking of Palestinian land, but there are two sides to it. I posted this stuff before. A lot of people today probably don't know who who Arafat was and his influence on the issues.

As I said way back I tried to take a balanced view on the issue. Today I support ending militray aid to Israel, or at lest pacing conditions on it.

Polls are showing among voters across parties there has been a huge shift from support for Israel to ending aid.

Netanyahu got carried away with himself and in the long run Israel may end up alone.

This is a viable strategy against a dictatorship. Kill the guy in charge, maybe a couple of adult sons who might inherit, and the regime will likely fall - dictatorships are brittle, because dictators who have effective succession plans risk their succsessor deciding to speed things up through assassination, so most dictators are keen to avoid putting such plans into place.

Iran is not a dictatorship.

Perhaps somebody in the Whitehouse or the Pentagon should have noticed that fact, before February 28th 2026.

Iran has a regime that was specifically designed to protect the Islamic Revolution against a decapitation strategy, whether domestic or foreign, having come to power itself using such a strategy, and having understood the vulnerability of a dictatorship to such an attack.

Back in the 80s Iranian immigrants I worked with said there were some good feelings for USA among people, but if we attacked it would galvanize the people.
