Things that make you laugh...

I was looking at the wikipedia article on the city of Brisbane, where I was astonished to learn that
Major events are often held at the 171km2 (66 sq mi) Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in South Brisbane
Holy crap! That's got to be the biggest enclosed space on the planet! I mean, I have been there, and it's quite big; But sixty square miles?

A quick look at the full article for the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre revealed that the space is in fact a mere 171,000m2, which is 0.1% of 171km2.

171,000m is 171km. But 171,000m2 is NOT 171km2.

Actually, comparing squares, it’s 0.0001%.

Makes sense to me.
I like to store things close to where I use them.
I have a bucket lined with foam that I use to insolate tubs of icecream which I eat watching TV.
When not in use, the bucket is in my freezer.
Offends my sensibilities.
The moment you open that 30° bag, any humidity in the air will condense on the inside surfaces of the bag, right where you probably don’t want it.

If his freezer is at 30°, he has bigger things to worry about, (much bigger, if those are °C ;) ), but even 30°F is far too hot for a freezer. It should be at about 0°F (-18°C).

OH NOoooo...
MAGAots are panicing over a post that Zohran Mamdani might require NY elementary students to learn Arabic numerals by age 12.
Others are worried he might introduce Al Gebra into high schools. :ROFLMAO:

It IS Queensland.

You guys have the Big Everything.

Brisbane is getting ready for their first Hunger Games.

The arena has to be roomy so the forests and volcanoes will fit inside.

It's in 2032

They call it the Summer Games, but it's being held in midwinter.
