Who here made such an attack?

An item on the list was 'take Iggy back'. This was on a list of items directed at White people, as if White people own Iggy and are responsible for what all White people do.

The 'cultural appropriation' complaint I had read independently before you posted your list, so I associated the two.

The list is suppose to be facetious but the Iggy item really struck me. What kind of moral code makes Whites responsible to 'take back' Iggy Azalea? Do you approve the sickening idea that people of a certain skin colour are responsible for the actions of all people with similar skin colours?

If you believe that, a White person could put the exact same item on a list of questions for Black people. Why don't Black people 'take back' Iggy, since rap and hip hop originated in Black culture, and you're complaining about her rap/hip hop skills, or lack thereof?

It's the same kind of humour as telling Canadians to take Justin Bieber back, but applied to racial groups instead of nationalities.

What I think is that Iggy Azalea is a no talent hack who is polluting the airwaves of America and i want her gone. There are plenty of musical acts in all colors of the rainbow that Are good entertainment and who do good work. Iggy ain't one of them.

Now the fact that the vast majority of WHITE posters here who responded to this list GET THAT IT'S A JOKE points to it being fairly obvious this list is not a literal call for all white people to use wash cloths or for IGGY to placed in drone and flown to the Outback and simply dumped out.

I think it's fair to ask, "was this racist" and I think the answer is that the content is pretty clearly silliness and not hate. It _could_ have been racist by asking nasty questions. But it clearly was not, IMHO.

I think we could come up with some similarly benign questions such that a list of questions for black people would have the same tone and not actually be racist, but I frankly would not expect anyone who NEEDS there to be balance would be able to actually achieve it. The ones who could achieve a balanced response don't really need to make one.

Aerosmith is the absolute zero of music suckage. It's the point at which all musical notation ceases to exist. It was not thought possible to actually reach musical zero until the release of "Walk This Way." At that point, the Heisenberg Infidelity Principle explains that listening to Aerosmith makes it impossible to hear it and many people mistake it for music, in the absence of music.

What's with all the Aerosmith hate? They make quality music and the existence of band was responsible for Steven Tyler being able to bang a hot enough woman to give birth to Liv Tyler. There's no way that a man who looks like him could have tapped an ass that fine without being in a famous band.
