Images that make you laugh

Sure, it's tough going. But even at 10km a day pace (which my granny could manage, and she's dead), you are looking at 40 days, not 40 years.

To take 40 years, you would need to travel less than 30 paces a day. At that rate, your big risk isn't the desert heat or lack of water - it's thrombosis due to lack of exercise.
They wandered around in circles, and this was the inspiration for religious circular logic as a holy sacrament.

6 days ?

412 km through desert at 68km walking a day at 55 degrees c ? Yeah terrible navigation system :-)

I wonder if the algorithm is suggesting that 6 days would be on the diagonal and not necessarily where they have you driving.

ETA: Even so, assuming a 45 degree angle, its about 181 miles or 30/day for a 6-day trek. You should still, however, be able to pull it off in 18 days at 10/day. Make it 36 days to account for large-crowd logistics.

How dare you imply that United did anything wrong? Don't you know that they are a large corporation?

They ordered that man to leave and he refused a direct order, besides he deserved it because he once committed a crime. Also, it was the cops' fault! Besides, the victim was obviously not white. [/Conservolibertarian]

This pretty succinctly sums up what drivers in Michigan have to put up with.

I presently have a banging, rattling suspension component in the back of my Q. Also have almost $400 in license fees and a cat that needs an expensive surgery very soon so I will have to put up with the banging and rattling for a while.
