"Me Too" Judge Roy Moore

Yeah, partisianship doesn't belong the conversation. Anthony Weiner resigned, if people might recall. As did that Florida Congressman, both cases involving underaged teens. The Al Franken situation is unknown as it is one person, at this time. It involves an alleged forced kiss, and a ridiculously inappropriate photo grope. Franken won't likely resign, but his VP hopes are dead.

Zackly.
Is Derec upset that poor Al is being tarred with the same Holy Brush that has covered his racist bro in slime? No, it seems he's upset that Al hasn't been run out of town on a rail.
Don't lose hope Derec - once there are 30-something accusers, and several first-hand graphic accounts of child molestation in his file, that will almost certainly happen.
Meanwhile, that amount evidence is probably not enough to keep your hero out of the Senate. Sound fair to you?

I used to make a lot of people angry about here by responding to every criticism of any conservative without outlandish "Oh yeah? Well liberals are just as bad because[ent]hellip[/ent]" arguments. People got all kinds of mad about it, but at least while I was doing it, the conservatives and libertarians pulled this stunt slightly less often.

Perhaps it's time to start doing it again? Last time, it didn't have an effect until I did it and overdid it until everyone was fucking sick and tired of the shtick.

Please don't, that schtick got old after a while. Besides, it is something that Hitler would have done.

Moore's wife says this is all the result of a conspiracy! I'm surprised she managed to avoid any mention of gay frogs. What's the point of a right wing conspiracy theory if they don't mention the gay frogs or Obama's secret weather weapon? Bah.

I remember another wife going on about vast conspiracies ...
Please get your boring misoClintonia treated.

Some conservatives think the moon landing was faked, too, but that also is irrelevant to the thread, Derec. Your whataboutism is showing.

But that one was right.
And this one might be right too. The timing of the allegations is very suspect, as is the involvement of Allred and the questions about the genuineness of the yearbook inscription.

I doubt that particular nuttiness is partisan.

But that one was right.

Vast right-wing conspiracies... as in the right-wing is coming up with conspiracies about her. Not that the right-wing is conspiring against her... there is no secret about that at all.

It's not misoClintonia, it's pointing out parallels.
It is a pointless parallel to anyone not afflicted with misoClintonia. And the implicit "Well what about _____ - he/she did it" is bs excuse.
Last time I checked, parallel lines or thoughts are similar, of the same idea. Clinton and her statement has absolutely nothing in common with the topic at hand.

Three more women have come forward.

Jeff Sessions has joined the list of "I believe the women," so it's no surprise to see Hannity back away from Moore.

Moore may still win this election, but there's no more ambiguity about the charges. Anyone who is still defending him, and attacking the credibility of his accusers, is either a duplicitous prick, or plain stupid.
Except one minor thing. The criticism from the Right-Wing on Moore isn't because of the allegations, which is driving me nuts. The Republicans opened up these accusations to try and get Moore out of the special election because they don't trust him in the Senate being a reliable vote. Making matters worse, Hannity has asked Moore to prove he didn't do something, which we know is impossible. The right-wing machine (has on this odd occasion) become synchronized for a moment again.

And to make matters worse, the polling in Alabama is indicating that Moore is still neck and neck with the Democrat opponent... and oddly enough this could increase right-wing turnout to support Moore. Can we impeach the State of Alabama?

We cannot impeach the state of Alabama.. we can, however, reject Alabama's pick from taking a seat in the Senate, and tell the people of Alabama that they aren't doing a good enough job, and to pick an adult that can work with the other grownups in Senate, or forgo representation at all.

I wonder if Derek voted to impeach Hillary: https://talkfreethought.org/showthr...-street-demand-impeachment-of-Hillary-Clinton

Aw, let him sit... and rot the rethuglican party from the inside out.

To be fair, he hasn't been convicted of anything. So to remove him from his elected position would be setting a bad precedence. If Alabama elects him, we should just impeach the state and give them what they wanted back in 1860, their own country.
