"Me Too" Judge Roy Moore

The photo!

So a quick look at the photo and it feels like it was written by three people. There is the actual note part, the the signature, then the date and Olde Hickory House.

The signature doesn't even look old... but it'd be odd for someone to write "Love," and then leave it blank. The 7's are completely different. The person that wrote 1977 didn't use "bubble" font, that some people like to use, usually women. But once again, why would there be a large blank space with no signature, and why the odd reference to a location, as in a *wink wink* sort of thing.

But most importantly, what in the hell was written? 'To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say "Merry Christmas"'

What in the fuck does that even mean?! That sounds like something a shy kid secretly writes in the Yearbook because they never had the courage to ever speak to the girl. Could explain the Love and the ', Roy Moore' being added later.

None of it makes sense. But at least, Sean Hannity has stopped talking for a moment at least. And of course, this could be forged evidence, but that doesn't prove that Roy Moore isn't guilty of harming this woman when she was a teen.

He could have wanted the latter parts to stand out more and took his time with his signature. I don't think we're reading directly from the book. It looks like a photocopy to me.

Which is fine. There can be explanations. It just looks suspect from several angles.

Obviously the work of the same people who forged Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate, knowing it would be important, 50 years later.

Is there any law against signing high school yearbooks if you are over 30?

If anything, the yearbook entry (if genuine) makes it more likely that any sexual encounter between the two was consensual, not forced.

How about this scenario? They did go behind the restaurant in his car. She gave him a consensual blowjob. Nothing wrong with that, as she was 16 and thus of age, and really it's less than what Slick Willy did in the Oral Office. She feels guilty about being that easy, however, and over the years retells the story as one of sexual assault. There is also possibility of financial inducement to tell the "assault" story publicly now. It is worth investigating if Tom Steyer or somebody like him is behind this.

Best lies are built upon a scaffolding of truth.

Well, the goat herders probably had some additional time on their hand. I saw a pic of his 2017 signature, and they look pretty similar. Some modifications, but nothing that can't be explained with an adjusting signature over time.

I still say I see three different hands writing this. The bubble font on the bottom is unmistakable.

But after further review, there are a couple things that imply legitimacy regarding the signature. When you zoom in on the photo, look at how the ink tales off at the end of letters. This tale off is noted in both the main text and the signature, which implies same pen and written at the same time. The y's are spot on, as are the e's... and the signature matches very closely with his own. The 12-22-77 Olde Hickory House is not the same writing, and I'm on the fence regarding the D.A., but that appears to be an incredibly creepy handwritten note (which couldn't be faked because it is so creepy and poorly written) from Roy Moore.

And of course, this could be forged evidence, but that doesn't prove that Roy Moore isn't guilty of harming this woman when she was a teen.

But forged evidence (of what exactly would it be evidence of though?) would diminish her credibility, and that of all other accusers, immensely. If the note turns out to be forged, expect Moore to be elected with >60% of the vote.

Of course, some people insist that if sexual assault is alleged, we must use the "guilty until proven innocent, and sometimes not even then" standard.

Roy Moore says it is fake, so why are you defending what he didn't write and then hypothesize some of your spank material?

Poor Derec.

Poor Derec.

Indeed. It must be rough, trying to deny the obvious reality that his brother in racism is also a child molester. (Not that there's anything wrong with that ...</neo-con>)
But those who share his opinions on the matter are stupid enough that the corroborating word of 30-soething different independent witnesses with nothing to gain, doesn't stack up to the fiery blather of one die-hard neo-nazi. So, the Senate may have to give a signal as to whether they are ready to institutionalize sexual predation, even more than they have already done by kowtowing to the pussy-grabber in chief.

Ah yes, false accusations of "racism" and being a "neo-Nazi". That shit is getting old.

But this "sexual harassment/assault" hysteria, overreactions and rush-to-judgment to any accusation is not going to stop with Republicans, you know. It will affect Democrats as well. Already Al Franken is being accused too. Do you believe his accuser just as much as you believe Moore's?

Coming from the person who invented the broken record. Sad indeed.
BS. The only people with broken records are those attacking me on here.

As for several people in the hand writing, Moore seems to have multiple personalities so I suspect Moore, Moore and more Moore.
When evidence does not go the accuser's way, ignore evidence. Isn't that what got Mike Nifong disbarred?

I suspect the girl wrote in the bottom part to commemorate the event.

It's not hysteria. If it happened it happened and it hardly matters the position or political party.

Don't you think it makes a teensy weensy difference, however, when it comes to an ultra moralist like Moore, one who is always clothing himself in his pious indignation and preaching to all subliterate humans like ourselves about his elevated religious status. The guy is shit. You can say it, go ahead! Actually he's below shit. Shit doesn't prowl around malls scoring with teenagers when it's thirty years old.

FFS, stop using the idiotic talking points from the conservative playbook. This incident, even if it was consensual, shows Moore is a creep and a massive hypocrite.
Best lies are built upon a scaffolding of truth.
I am sure the irony of that is not lost on any regular participant here.

Yeah, partisianship doesn't belong the conversation. Anthony Weiner resigned, if people might recall. As did that Florida Congressman, both cases involving underaged teens. The Al Franken situation is unknown as it is one person, at this time. It involves an alleged forced kiss, and a ridiculously inappropriate photo grope. Franken won't likely resign, but his VP hopes are dead.

Zackly.
Is Derec upset that poor Al is being tarred with the same Holy Brush that has covered his racist bro in slime? No, it seems he's upset that Al hasn't been run out of town on a rail.
Don't lose hope Derec - once there are 30-something accusers, and several first-hand graphic accounts of child molestation in his file, that will almost certainly happen.
Meanwhile, that amount evidence is probably not enough to keep your hero out of the Senate. Sound fair to you?
