Guys, would you wear this scarf?

Maybe North Dakota would have you. Or you could turn the AC way up until your house is freezing cold and then look at the scarf and see if it appeals to you.

I'd wear it, but I'm in SoCal, so it would be an affectation. I'd need bunny slippers and a silk vest to go with it.
hehe But would you wear it if you were in Canada?

Anything with a "shading effect" is not what I would wear. Sorry

You mean the color change in the yarn? Or the geometric look of the stitch?

The color change in the yarn.

I also like darker colors for a scarf.

This look would be fine...

That scarf looks bunchy and reminds me of scarves I've had that were itchy. The one in the OP looks more supple, like it would fit and feel better, kinda like that merino wool stuff. But hand made is always better.

Just sayin'

Ok, then make it Cashmere, or a blend of cashmere and silk...To be totally honest, cashmere is what I would wear if I was forced to use a scarf...

And I would wear it like this...

I wouldn't wear it. I only wear cashmere scarves. Looks nice though and I am sure it would of be appreciated by the sort of person who wears more "rustic" clothing.

Angry Floof, what are you concerns about the first one? The color, or the pattern, or both? I think it would offset a dark jacket nicely, so yes, I'd wear it.

As for the one in the post immediately above this one, my only hesitation is about those gaps in the design. It looks fine, but I'm more about practicality. Nice work, though!

Thanks. I've already ripped that second one apart. I wasn't happy with it, either. The one with diagonal stripes is going to be completed. I work on multiple things at once. :)

Yeah, I didn't like the holes, either. Here's the new one with that yarn along with a matching hat:

Check out this fabric...

I like the colors and texture, but it might be too thick for a scarf(?)...

I've never had a matching scarf and hat, but this one looks good. I like the colors! What wool are you using?

That's a wool/synthetic blend. I don't really like working with it but it does make a cozy scarf.

Floof, could you post another picture of the scarf alone by the light?

I already took it apart. lol
