Maybe North Dakota would have you. Or you could turn the AC way up until your house is freezing cold and then look at the scarf and see if it appeals to you.
hehe But would you wear it if you were in Canada?I'd wear it, but I'm in SoCal, so it would be an affectation. I'd need bunny slippers and a silk vest to go with it.
Anything with a "shading effect" is not what I would wear. Sorry
You mean the color change in the yarn? Or the geometric look of the stitch?
I don't think I'm allowed in Canada.hehe But would you wear it if you were in Canada?I'd wear it, but I'm in SoCal, so it would be an affectation. I'd need bunny slippers and a silk vest to go with it.

The color change in the yarn.
I also like darker colors for a scarf.
This look would be fine...

That scarf looks bunchy and reminds me of scarves I've had that were itchy. The one in the OP looks more supple, like it would fit and feel better, kinda like that merino wool stuff. But hand made is always better.
Just sayin'
Yeah, I didn't like the holes, either. Here's the new one with that yarn along with a matching hat:

Just wondering why you make them such depressing colours?

I've never had a matching scarf and hat, but this one looks good. I like the colors! What wool are you using?
Floof, could you post another picture of the scarf alone by the light?
