Mueller investigation

You mean you'd like me to bow down before you and swear allegiance to your gang through disparraging Trump? Not going to happen. And it won't happen just to spite your tribalistic instincts.
Yeah, still lacking context here. You are to be making very vague accusations here.
I think it's pretty clear. YOU are lied to because you listen to the wrong people and do no research.
HE knows the truth because he listens to the right people and considers it research.
HOW he knows he's not lied to seems to be similar to how the KJVOnlyists know that the KJV is the inspired version.

That's an unwarranted slam - I mean, Queen Jimmy's council that manufactured the KJV was so OBVIOUSLY inspired...

From the cheap seats that we all sit in,
It isn't the seats you're in, it's the headphones you're listening through. You're simply being lied to from your corporate media masters and the corporate Democrats and the guilty as hell intelligence community.

I detest Trump as much as anybody, but not to the point of being blind to the rest of the situation.
Evidence suggests otherwise.

F.B.I. Opened Inquiry Into Whether Trump Was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia

And investigators had watched with alarm as the Republican Party softened its convention platform on the Ukraine crisis in a way that seemed to benefit Russia.

Minute 8 is most troubling.

So this is why Pelosi and others in recent days started mentioning indictment rather than impeachment. I guess it's our only hope.

What we the public know scares the bejesus out of me. But then I went off the deep end more than two years ago with this thinking Trump/Checks and Balances thing. Now I'm to the point where reading Mueller's report isn't so compelling but more frightening. I mean, just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean Putin isn't trying to overthrow the US government. Notice I said "isn't trying" and not "didn't". In two plus years nothing has happened to allay my fears. McConnell reading the report and doing just what he's been doing is a pretty safe bet. So there's indictment and the Supreme Court. Geez. I hope there aren't any Supreme Court Justices mentioned in Mueller's report. There I go, off the deep end again. Well, at least there's no way Trump or some Trump-like creature is president in 2021, right?

Disclaimer: There are not news articles taped all over the walls of my house.

Article 1 of Articles of Impeachment against Richard Nixon
RESOLVED, That Richard M. Nixon, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanours, and that the following articles of impeachment to be exhibited to the Senate:

ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT EXHIBITED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN THE NAME OF ITSELF AND OF ALL OF THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AGAINST RICHARD M. NIXON, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF ITS IMPEACHMENT AGAINST HIM FOR HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANOURS.

ARTICLE 1

In his conduct of the office of President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his consitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has prevented, obstructed, and impeded the administration of justice, in that:

On June 17, 1972, and prior thereto, agents of the Committee for the Re-election of the President committed unlawful entry of the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee in Washington, District of Columbia, for the purpose of securing political intelligence. Subsequent thereto, Richard M. Nixon, using the powers of his high office, engaged personally and through his close subordinates and agents, in a course of conduct or plan designed to delay, impede, and obstruct the investigation of such illegal entry; to cover up, conceal and protect those responsible; and to conceal the existence and scope of other unlawful covert activities.

The means used to implement this course of conduct or plan included one or more of the following:

  1. making false or misleading statements to lawfully authorized investigative officers and employees of the United States;
  2. withholding relevant and material evidence or information from lawfully authorized investigative officers and employees of the United States;
  3. approving, condoning, acquiescing in, and counselling witnesses with respect to the giving of false or misleading statements to lawfully authorized investigative officers and employees of the United States and false or misleading testimony in duly instituted judicial and congressional proceedings;
  4. interfering or endeavouring to interfere with the conduct of investigations by the Department of Justice of the United States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the office of Watergate Special Prosecution Force, and Congressional Committees;
  5. approving, condoning, and acquiescing in, the surreptitious payment of substantial sums of money for the purpose of obtaining the silence or influencing the testimony of witnesses, potential witnesses or individuals who participated in such unlawful entry and other illegal activities;
  6. endeavouring to misuse the Central Intelligence Agency, an agency of the United States;
  7. disseminating information received from officers of the Department of Justice of the United States to subjects of investigations conducted by lawfully authorized investigative officers and employees of the United States, for the purpose of aiding and assisting such subjects in their attempts to avoid criminal liability;
  8. making or causing to be made false or misleading public statements for the purpose of deceiving the people of the United States into believing that a thorough and complete investigation had been conducted with respect to allegations of misconduct on the part of personnel of the executive branch of the United States and personnel of the Committee for the Re-election of the President, and that there was no involvement of such personnel in such misconduct: or
  9. endeavouring to cause prospective defendants, and individuals duly tried and convicted, to expect favoured treatment and consideration in return for their silence or false testimony, or rewarding individuals for their silence or false testimony.

In all of this, Richard M. Nixon has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.

Wherefore Richard M. Nixon, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office.

From what's known, Trump has committed about half of those 9 charges.

The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.

It appears that there exists a trail of emails, text messages, documents and a handful of corroborating witnesses that will back up the claim that Shitgibbon instructed Cohen to lie to Congress. AG-in-waiting Bill Barr already stated in no uncertain terms that this would constitute obstruction.
More popcorn, please!

Deep-state conspiracy to prevent American Greatness!
Anyone can fabricate documents!
Cohen is a liar so if he confirms something, it must also be a lie!
Collusion isn't a crime!
If the President does it, it is legal by definition!
The President didn't just deny it.. he STRONGLY denies it!
It's unconstitutional to accuse a sitting president of a crime! (why do you hate America?)

Internal company emails?! These are the dumbest fuckers ever.

I think that they're just used to operating in an environment where there are no consequences for their actions and so they never really saw any need to cover up their crimes because it's not like anyone is ever going to look into them. This shit is just business as usual.

The consequence of believing that the Presidency is an entry-level position.

MUELLER DRAFT REPORT SAYS TRUMP 'HELPED PUTIN DESTABILIZE THE UNITED STATES', WATERGATE JOURNALIST SAYS

Legendary journalist Carl Bernstein has said that he’s been told that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report will show how President Donald Trump helped Russia “destabilize the United States.”

Bernstein, who is renowned for his coverage of the Watergate scandal that led to the resignation of former President Richard Nixon, appeared on CNN’s Reliable Sources on Sunday to discuss two bombshell reports released this weekend, one from The New York Times and one from The Washington Post, which revealed new details about whether or not Trump and his aides have colluded with Russia.

Federal courts will run out of money by Friday due to shutdown — including Mueller’s grand jury

CNN justice correspondent Jessica Schneider told CNN on Tuesday that federal courts will begin running out of money on Friday thanks to President Donald Trump’s government shutdown — and that could include special counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury.

Schneider said the FBI was already feeling the pinch, as unpaid agents and support staff alike were relying on the help of food banks to get by. The FBI Agents Association, she said, would be releasing a 70-page report that will describe “how the government shutdown is impacting daily operations and investigations.”

In that case, would the shutdown itself qualify as obstruction of justice?
Mitch might pass legislation on to Trump if only to avoid being named as an accessory to the crime...

That would be one way to starve the beast that's slowly eating you alive.

The ramifications of the shut down are far-reaching and this will bite the orange wonder in the butt.
