Trump Tests Positive For Covid-19

Hope Hicks is a very attractive friend of Ivanka Trump, and we know how Trump feels about those type of women. She is is an advisor to Trump, though at her age, what she is qualified to advise on is an absolute mystery.

Trump positive test roils White House, presidential campaign | TheHill
The coronavirus has been deadliest for seniors and those with preexisting respiratory conditions. Trump is 74 years of age and overweight, factors that place him in a high-risk category for falling ill from the virus.

...
Biden will be tested on Friday. His running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), has tested negative.

Others who have been in close contact with the president in recent days have tested negative, including Meadows, Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, both senior White House advisers.

...
The New York Times reported that the president appeared lethargic at a Thursday fundraiser and that he fell asleep on the airplane ride back from a rally in Minnesota on Wednesday night.

... Sources close to the Biden campaign told The Hill there are no plans for him to scale back his campaign activities for as long as he and those around him continue to test negative for COVID-19.

There is also the possibility — remote for now, but plausible — that the president simply would not be healthy enough to seek a second term.

That's absolutely NOT a remote possibility before COVID. He's too damn old. Not everyone his age would be too old but he definitely is. He definitely has been showing signs of intellectual impairment, mental health issues and neurological impairment plus multiple *not* emergency visits to Walter Reed. If you add in his nasty comments in 2016 about Clinton's health when she had pneumonia and his & his campaign's nastiness about Biden's health and, well, he's not a well man and this is an incredibly stressful job.

I also think that Biden is too old. It isn't hard to see the mental decline in each man and Biden is starting to show some frailty. Now, I think that Biden is a pretty good if flawed human being, with good intentions and I think that Trump is a despicable human being with intentions only of self gratification and aggrandizement. Their starting points four years ago and now are vastly different from each other. If we have to elect an old white dude--and it appears we must--please let it be Biden.

The dumbest fucking President ever!

So what appears to stupidity might be getting worse?
WH Press Sec said:
It was deemed safe for the President to go. He socially distanced, it was an outdoor event and it was deemed safe
1) It was indoors and outdoors
2) Did anyone tell anyone else that Trump could be infected?
3) There are reports Trump was under the weather last night at the event.
4) Social distancing is a protective measure if everyone is wearing masks, and you don't know that someone very likely has the disease.

Hope Hicks is positive some time before 2:30 PM. Based on Trump's proximity to her (or her body?), protocol would have immediately demanded being tested. Did Trump get tested before going to Jersey? Presumably they would have run multiple tests, which takes longer. It would seem likely that Trump went to Jersey not knowing if he was infected, despite apparently having symptoms.

1. The photo looks like Custer facing the Sioux Nation. Right down to the flaxen hair on Lone Warrior.
2. Can we now redefine "Prolife" to include "holds super-spreader events linked to viral breakouts"?

It'd be interesting if contact tracing is done and find out if Trump gave it to her or vice versa.

He got it because he got tested. That's how you get it. He didn't follow his own advice.

I heard that windmills spread it too. Maybe that was something he was personally researching.

I am an evil arsehole so here we go: don't worry, the President is fine it will blow over like a fucking miracle.

Fuck it it's a hoax anyways amirite?

It's just the flu. It's just white flu is deadly.

The critique of Trump has always centered on his attempts to downplay the virus. He has insisted the pandemic will “disappear,” repeatedly cast doubt on expert medical opinion and has appeared ambivalent, at best, about safety measures such as mask-wearing.

His own infection, far from drawing sympathy toward him, could just as easily deepen criticisms of his rhetorical recklessness. His mocking of Biden for the frequency with which he wears a mask looks particularly ill-judged.

Trump has boasted of the stock market’s performance even in the midst of this year’s turmoil, but Wall Street hates instability. Dow Jones Futures were down 300 points at 4:30 a.m., five hours before the market open.

Speaking of Handmaiden Amy Coney Island, her and Trump and other muckety-mucks in the upper echelon have been meeting very recently. If she needs to be quarantined, or worse yet, gets the virus, what will this do to her SC nomination?

How often has Mark Meadows been honest? Hmmm

https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/02/politics/mark-meadows-white-house-donald-trump-coronavirus/index.html

Seeking to calm just those fears, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows answered a handful of reporters' questions Friday. Meadows' main message was to assure the public that Trump, while he had "mild" symptoms, was still the same old guy.

"He's in the residence now, and in a true fashion he's probably critiquing the way that I'm answering these questions," Meadows said. He also noted that Trump's first questions to him this morning were about the economy, the jobs report and the state of economic stimulus talks on Capitol Hill.

Here's the problem: We have no way of actually knowing if Meadows is telling the truth. About Trump's health, about what the White House knew, and when, about senior adviser Hope Hicks' positive test on Thursday morning -- about any of it.

Melania Trump announces she has "mild symptoms" of coronavirus - CNNPolitics
In early April she became the first member of the administration to post a public photograph of herself wearing a face covering, advising the country to do the same in keeping with US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. Trump has for the most part, at least publicly, adhered to her own counsel, but has gone mask-less on several outings with the President in recent weeks.
Democrat Joe Biden tests negative for virus, after President Trump
Running mates who didn't attend the presidential debate, and who are scheduled to debate Wednesday in Salt Lake City, are continuing to travel. Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., who tested negative for the virus Friday, was traveling to Las Vegas for a fundraiser with former President Barack Obama and to deliver a speech.

...
Over the past several months, Biden has criticized Trump said he should have set a better example for wearing a mask and keeping a distance with others. But Trump accused Biden of hiding in his basement in Wilmington, Delaware, with only brief excursions for speeches.
