if during competition a trans gender athlete out performs and defeats a cis gender athlete, should the cis gender athlete get a participation award?

If you find an instance where an Ex-Woman bests the biological men, then sure.

ex woman? are we taking DNA or your perception of gender?
you will receive your duly expected participation reward, lol

Yeah, it's a real mystery why we never hear about Ex-Woman breaking records in men's sport. Inexplicable.

No, really. I triple dog dare you to find one - just one - instance of a trans-man athlete setting a record in men's sport. That's a triple dog dare!

OK, you are way too emotional.
you start with vague terms about "ex woman" and cross dress yourself into biological men..
at that point your mentor will get a participation reward if he's biologically a man and bested by an ex woman, which you are obviously not.
and now you want to talk about records. are we taking world records?
yeah we are, and you get one. a participation award.

Trausti emotional? Yeah, no. I'm just pointing out reality.

What reality balances your emotional state as yes and no?

none is acting stupid on purpose, passive aggression levels that shouldn't even be possible.

I actually found the triple dog dare funny. Forgive me.

It's almost as though Trausti knows how petty and childish he's being, and decided to triple down.

Yeah, who could have predicted this thread would be childish given such a serious OP.

There's a lot of transexuals who are against transathletes. Lots and lots. The only one's pushing for it seems to be MTF transexuals who were top level athletes as men and who have nothing else in their lives. And the super woke CIS club who are terrified they might be seen as transphobic. All the sensible voices seem to be against transexuals competing with CIS athletes.

I'd like to see a study where transexuals are asked about their opinion on this. I get the vibe that this is mostly the woke crowd who are fighting this fight out of some misguided idea that they're helping transexual (who don't want their help)

Who could forget the time the Williams sisters lost to a smoking, beer-drinking, has-been?

https://www.theretrosite.com/karsten-braasch-vs-williams-sisters/

Braasch gleefully rubbed in his dominance by smoking cigarettes and drinking beers during the changeovers. Serena, who would win the women’s title at the U.S. Open later that year, was humbled by the shellacking. “It was extremely hard,” she told reporters who descended upon the challenge match. “I didn’t know it would be that hard. I hit shots that would have been winners on the WTA Tour, and he got to them easily.” When Braasch was asked if either of the Williams sisters could beat a top male player, he opined, “Against anyone in the top 500, no chance–because I was playing like [number] 600 today.”
