The reason was that political cartoons too often set off flame wars in this thread, which, as all chat/community threads, is sacred and holy in regard to keeping fights and disruption out of it.

I undertook to teach a parakeet to say "chirp." I failed (maybe?) because, as it turned out, I couldn't tell the difference in doing it and saying it.

It was probably linked to an image from another site and then someone moved the image. It was visible for some time as evidenced by the reactions it got. I also tried to fix it for C but there is nothing in the post at all, no links or texts or anything.
