Biden Pardons Hunter

4) Trump being found guilty for hiding classified papers just like Biden was found innocent doing the same thing (unequal justice)
Trump was never found guilty of hiding classified papers. He hid classified papers. He obstructed the reacquisition of classified papers. There was no trial because the judge in charge of it is a damn stooge.
Yet another example of how the right wing thinks that two things of similar kind must also be of similar degree. It’s tiring. The two situations are not comparable.

Which both sides do and have done in the past.
Could you be more specific?

Tom
Just off the top of my head, witch hunting against Trump

1) Russia investigation based on a fake Hillary dossier
Dossier was real not fake. Information in the dossier was of unknown legitimacy. It was Trump's firing of a few people that led to an investigation as Trump was acting weird.
2) 3 impeachments that went no where but done anyway
You misspelled 2. One was around Trump impounding funding and trying to get a quid-pro-quo from the Ukrainian President (in the form of announcing a fake investigation into Biden) for military support already passed by Congress. The second one was when he helped create a riot at the US Capitol, that he egged on on social media, violating his oath to the Constitution.
3) Trump being found guilty taking advantage of a bank who was happy with outcome with (no victim)
The victims would be the other customers.
4) Trump being found guilty for hiding classified papers just like Biden was found innocent doing the same thing (unequal justice)

FFS, doncha unnerstand Jimmuy? Everyone - the state of NY, the deep state, Ms. Carroll, Jack Smith, the FBI - is out to get him: Trump is a perpetual victim. Totally unfair to expect him to behave like a decent human being and obey the laws. At least the SCOTUS gets it.

You are suggesting that the FBI entrapped thousands of idiot Trump supporters who got all caught up in the whirlwind of revolution.
Yes.
But you struggle with the whole several speeches by Trump and his allies prior to the US Capitol riot having a substantial impact, as well as the entire lead up to the whole thing?

You familiar with Occam's Razor?
Surely he is, and figures the simplest explanation for all known facts is “the deep state is out to get trump”.
Good luck explaining why that’s not the case. You’re trying to get an evangelical to understand that the Bible is not a magic book.
The problem with the god did it approaches is that they're just packaging all the complexity into one item and dismissing it. No, if you want to invoke the deep state as the cause then you need to explain the deep state--and not just with a handwave.
Hey, it works for religious fundies…

You misspelled 2.
You are absolutely correct Jimmy. There were so many witch hunts, I lost correct count of them all.
I have no idea why are against an alleged tyrannical deep state, while supporting a tyrant, who also happens to be the whiniest bitch to serve in the Oval Office.

People who support the apricot fall into two categories; they don’t know or they don’t care. Sometimes both, but those don’t usually vote. Vonse seems married to a brand of illogic that is strange to me, but carries an unmistakeable reek of ignorance rather than malice.

I am not sure we should be giving credence to the opinions of anyone who struggles to count up to two.

If Trump actually makes good on some of his promises you will see first hand some of the issues and fixes regarding this so called "deep state" you see as a handwaving fiction.

For example, if Trump gets his way (and not lying about it) the FBI headquarters will be moved out of Washington DC to a more neutral political location. Tulsi Gabbord is supposed to be heading up the intelligence agencies as well. For the first time in my lifetime, there could be real changes made to many agencies in her power.

You do make a very compelling point here. My only response is this. Trump is only 1 man this will be gone in 4 years and even sooner if he dies of old age. The Deep State is unelected, never changing, and completely out of control of the voters. That is why it is worse than a ego maniac that talks like a 4th grader.

So the boogie man is the reason why supporting Trump is okay.

 So making the FBI less political requires moving the headquarters? You are aware of Zoom and fiber optics, right? The whole working through the pandemic at home because we had the capacity to connect to servers and talk to coworkers over the Internet? The days of insulation via distance are long since over.
Tulsi Gabbord is supposed to be heading up the intelligence agencies as well.
Speaking of insulation... that will be her job as DNI. It isn't like she is qualified for the role to do the classical job.
For the first time in my lifetime, there could be real changes made to many agencies in her power.
Her job is to protect and shield Trump from them, not use them as utilities.

That's a very different thing than pardoning people who actually did something wrong.
Not just "actually did something wrong".

The January 6 insurrection was an attack on our country! Trump supporters like to pretend that it's a crime like looting a pawn shop. It's not. It's a crime more like the Pearl Harbor attack, except that it was instigated by President Trump and committed by his American followers.
Tom
The people who would have been protesting went a step further because of "deep state" implants who caused the crime to become more severe. Or so that is the apparent narrative of a lot of people knowing more than I do.
Your posts keep getting more and more hilarious. First you cite Joe Rogan as a reliable source, then repeat the mantra of the "deep state," and now you've gone down the rabbit hole of "it was the deep state instigators."

What ever happened to the right wing's claims of being "the party of personal responsibility?" You're blaming everyone else!

We will soon see if Trump has been lying during his campaign. He has assured his supporters including RFK jr. that ALL JFK records will be released to the public. After 60 fucking years we finally get know what happened. If someone is not going to be honest enough to tell me what happened after 60 years I'm not assuming they have my best interest at heart. But that is just one example why so many do not trust the government any longer. Could it also be getting us into a Viet Nam and Iraq war that we really did not need to pay for with lives and tax money? Maybe the deep state knows more than you or I do. Or maybe they are just as corrupt as the rest of us are including Biden and his son.

If nothing else happens during the next 4 years, I look forward to seeing what really happened 60 years ago.

If nothing else happens during the next 4 years, I look forward to seeing what really happened 60 years ago.
Now why would such a devout conspiracy theorist believe that whatever records are released are both complete and conclusive? After all, the deep state could already have destroyed any really incriminating evidence.

What ever happened to the right wing's claims of being "the party of personal responsibility?" You're blaming everyone else!
They did take responsibility and got Trump elected even though many of them really did not like him any better than you do. They used the same election tricks that the Democrats taught them during Bidens last election.

But Both Sides! Both...sides!

And failing that, appeal to "The Deep State" and blame everything on some vaguely defined conspiracy!

"Deep State Implants"? What are you rambling on about. Are these spy's put into government jobs that report back to the government what the government is doing????

Bogeyman indeed.

Tricks like winning more votes? Gods, you live in a completely different reality, don't you? Look out! The Deep State is hiding behind your sofa!

The Deep State does not hide, in fact it takes pride in making you know it can put the boot down on your neck at any time. Do I think the IRS is hiding behind the sofa?
The fact that you think Trump is the champion of the working man and will save you from "The Deep State" putting a boot on your neck is the height of absurdity. He straight up told you that he'd be using the power of government to extract revenge on everyone he thinks ever did him wrong. He'll be rounding up brown people (of course) but also prosecuting journalists, academics, and whomever he deems to be "the radical left." You set the boot on your own neck. You just don't realize it yet.
