there doesn't seem to be a lot of information on how this $11 insulin is going to be achieved
Are you diabetic, or is this just one more thing that doesn't effect you, yet pisses you off about the "left"?
FWIW
the cost in most western democratic countries is around $10. In the US, It's over $98.00.
If Trump got it down to $60 in the US you'd be singing his praises again (assuming you actually give a flying fuck about the price of insulin), but if Newscum got it down to $20 you'd be hollering about broken promises. If you're diabetic, you should move to Turkey. At $2.64 you can use all you want, and live like a king. If you or your family are not diabetic, maybe STFU about it unless you're personally willing to subsidize cheaper insulin.
Insulin Cost/Country 2025
If we (you) want to go full authoritarian like Turkey or even Hungary, $5 insulin might be do-able, depending on the whim of the tyrant.*
If they want, they can just do away with stuff like pre-natal care altogether (it's quite the backbreaker), and the savings can go to support diabetics feasting on Cheeseboogies.
They could make insulin free, or even pay people to take it, with the trillions that the American rich are about to inherit.
Insulin is major bread in the
bread burgers and circuses game. I just don't see much entertainment value in it for you, Swiz.
Again, are you diabetic?
* The Au model will get you close, but that's democracy-rooted, so not currently available to 'Murkins thx to Trump voters.
