We already do so much in metric. If we had switched the road signs to kilometers back when Canada did it, or earlier, no one would be unfamiliar with the metric system now. But we're good on liters and mils, millimeters, centimeters. You can hardly order anything online without seeing the metric measurements. But the state we are in now, switching to metric road signs absolutely would be the spark that ignites a second civil war. 😂

Yep. We don't blink an eye at buying soda in two-liter bottles, but we can't manage to buy milk in anything except pints, quarts, and gallons.

It's weird. My brother is restricted to 1.5 liters of water per day by his doctor, and we instantly knew that was 2 of his usual 700 mil bottles, with 100 mils to spare for cereal or something.

Maybe we could change just a few road signs to start and change them all very slowly.

Murkins are so stoopid ... if Sleepy Joe could issue a mandate that gasoline must be sold by the liter, most would think gas prices went down. And they'd be mystified by the sudden reduction in their gas mileage.

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Good point.

But seriously, like the road from Flagstaff to Grand Canyon, a road that people from around the world use all the time, and with miles in parens or something so no one freaks out.
