Question for all posters (who have ever been in locker rooms):

Have you ever been in a locker room, heard someone brag about committing sexual assault, and NOT called the police?

Did he brag about "committing sexual assault"? What he says is that when you are celebrity women let you do stuff they would not let regular guys do.
If they let him, then it is obviously not sexual assault.

The "let you do anything" exists only in Trump's mind. I could walk up to you and grab your balls through your pants. I could even pinch a nipple before you react. Did you let me do it? If I have enough pressure on your scrotum, you might not resist the nipple twisting, especially if I smile and say, "You know you like it."

I played D-1 football (was a scrub) as between 18 to 20 year old at a party college. Don't remember anyone bragging about sexual assault on a woman. I will admit that I've never been in a 59 old white guy locker room before.

What did you think about his weird comments about his daughter being a "fine piece of ass"?

I noticed the you didn't answer the OP's simple yes/no question. Weasel, much?
"When you're a star, they let you do it... you can do anything."
Now tell me Derec - how would he know that?!
He was OBVIOUSLY bragging about his past crimes, now verified by numerous individuals with corroborating testimony.

Of course maybe he's just full of shit. Is that better in your mind?

Yes Derec, he is talking about sexual assault. When a man walks up to a woman and grabs her genitals without her consent, that is a sexual assault. She might "let him" in that she doesn't have time to react to stop him, or "let him" in that she is too shocked to react after, or "let him" in that she is too intimidated to call the police and press charges, and some, I assume, will "let him" because they like the idea of Trump grabbing their pussy - but regardless of their reactions, if he grabs a woman's genitals without her permission he has sexually assaulted her.

I should not have to explain this to any adult male, but, well... it's you, Derec.

Except they don't let him if he didn't ask them. Regardless of how they responded or what Trump imagines they were thinking and feeling, they did not give consent and he did not ask for it.

Again, Donald Trump vomiting the words "they let me" or "they like it" does not make them true.

Why is this rocket science? Women's bodies are not yours or Trump's or anyone's to do with as you please. They're not public property. The issue is not how much "locker room" assault is justified to brag about. The issue is that it is assault and thinking it's OK to do it to women because you're rich is the depravity of entitlement mentality.

What an ignorant statement. Just because you don't fight back doesn't mean it's consensual and not sexual assault.

Animals react to acute stress in three ways:
1. Flight
2. Fight
3. Fright

Flight: Some women may quickly leave after he gropes them because they are frightened.
Fight: Some women may punch him in the face after being groped.
Fright: Some women may be too frightened to do anything after being groped in the crotch.

Based on your post, you seem like the type of person who would benefit from an affirmative consent class, but before doing so you should read up on acute stress response.

Understand animals. Then, try to understand humans. You must crawl before you walk and you must walk before you run.

Good luck.

Exactly.

As to OP question, I haven't been in a locker room since gym class in high school, and nobody bragged about forcing themselves on women then.

I was in a fraternity in college, and we didn't boast about that sort of thing, either. In fact when one of our chapter's founding members was charged with assault after he hit his girlfriend, he was summarily kicked out of the fraternity. Not just the local chapter, but the national organization.

Damn you're naive. The woman he attempted to make advances on didn't let him do it. He said he "moved on her like a bitch", then said he failed, i.e. the woman didn't want him to do those things. He was admitting to overly aggressive, non-consensual behavior. Secondly, do you really believe women would let men do those things because they're famous, especially when this is coming from a guy like Trump, who lies all the time and has demonstrated he's, at best, highly untrustworthy? Do you have evidence they do?

Naive definitely seems like the right diagnosis. Maybe if one has zero experience and just imaginings about how sex goes down between consenting adults, one can unironically be that obtuse.

Also, Trump simply assumes that women let you do things if you're rich/famous. It reflects not only his manipulation, but also his entitled narcissism.

"Let you"--as in not fight back because it's someone sufficiently powerful that you're not likely to be believed? That's not consent!

Or just his understanding that wealth and fame also bring power. This is also the same guy who routinely refuses to pay small businesses he's contracted out to, after all.

In any case, first he wasn't in a locker room, he was in a bus clearly provided by Access Hollywood, sitting with a host. Second, if someone says this to me *anywhere*, I'd put him in the "potential rapist" list and begin warning women about what he said.

But it's true. Rich and famous do get away with shit like that, sometimes it involves paying money but they get away.

Reminds me of the Always Sunny episode when the gang buys a boat.
