The Race For 2024

You know what worries me way more than Trump in the white house? It's the fact that Republicans took the Senate, and there's a real risk that they might take the House as well. That's terrifying. I really really wanted a blockade in place given the options we were given.

Plenty of time to destroy the 2 term limit. I reckon that’ll be done by 2027.
It will be removed not destroyed.
The 22nd amendement was added and so it can be removed or amended.
They can’t get 2/3 of anything. Trashing the Constitution is easier.
That's also requires 2/3...

Okay, joking aside, how do you think that would happen? What chain of events do you think would result in the constitution being tossed out?

Yes they will have a unified government, or close enough that they can achieve it through bullying and credible threats.
Guess we get to see how hyperbolic all the left’s claims are, eh Emily? There’s a big lineup of power hungry, money grubbing tools just waiting to get to work on it.

Mere pronouncement. “Im suspending the Constitution temporarily to save our great Country from the gravest of threats”
Don’t like it? Go near any windows. Proud boys might pay your family a visit too.

So Montana and Arizona pass abortion referendum and then elect the party that killed Roe v Wade and are in close proximity to ban abortion all together. Almost as if the average American voter (black women aside) are "fucking stupid" when it comes to politics.
They CAN'T ban abortion all together. SC's decision was that it's a state matter; the only way Reps could push for an abortion ban would be a constitutional amendment. And there's no way that will get ratified.
Pass a bill banning abortion nationwide in the House. The senate passes the same bill and sends it to Trump. He signs it. Abortion is now illegal nationwide.

Schoolhouse Rock FTW.

The people have spoken. Now, let’s see if we can get back to not idolizing politicians while they screw us all. :eating_popcorn:

You skipped the part where liberal states sue and the supreme court wipes their asses with the paperwork.
