What I find funny is that the image accompanying the quote about looking before crossing is from a freeway intersection that has no pedestrian crossings and has ramps and bridges specifically built to avoid cars having to cross paths either.

The weather was calm, the atmosphere festive. Which made it all the more surprising when several boats sank Saturday at an event put on by Trump supporters near Austin, Texas.

Reminds me of an architectural office that I worked in that had a display case in the lobby for all the industry awards that it had won. Some wag in the office 'borrowed' the keys to the glass doors and placed several old bowling trophies in the mix. They sat unnoticed for over a month.

I have stopped going to the staff room of late for one reason.

There is a clock head in there who claims two things:

1) that the COVID is not to be worried about because the infection rate is 0.001% that if the regular flue (not realising that it is that duet I the restrictions in place here)
2) that the COVID and it’s restrictions are designed by all the governments of the world to reset the economy, so that there were only very wealthy or very poor. Or did he say Bill Gates did this?

Anyway, I think it’s a laugh, and a worry, that such a dickhead is not only teaching kids, but is encouraging other staff to think this way.

It makes me laugh with his beliefs. And unfortunately, he is just stupid enough to believe it all. AND, he claims he is a great teacher!
