4 major charges. Several co-defendents indicted. Details are still be released. 45 paged indictment. Grand Jury comes through for the rule of law.

For the benefit of the rest of the world could you either
1. charge him
2. Find him guilty or innocent
3. Shut up about Trump

This soap opera has long exceeded its ridiculous level.

Step #1 done. Two more to go!

Legal matters are not by their nature quickly resolved, in any democratic nation.

For the benefit of the rest of us, you should either
1. Ignore this thread
2. Discuss the topic
3. Shut up about Trump

Leave it to the rest of us to enjoy the soap opera.

Except in Australia, where (obviously) the default approach is the kangaroo court ;)

My understanding is that the following are also under indictment:
Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Sidney Powell, Jeff Clark, Ken Chesebro, with Boris Epshteyn still under investigation. Likely more to follow.

I want Mike Flynn's head on a pike (metaphorically speaking, of course).

Are you kidding?
The defendant’s last Court appearance prior to the November election will be the cliffhanger of all time. If it’s televised it will set viewership (ad price) records. And those records will be immediately broken when the series resumes after the election. It will get record viewership until late January. Then, unless Trump gets the big win, takes office and dismisses the whole thing, it will continue for years, with devoted viewers following the trials of John Eastman, Giuliani, Syd Powell, the fake elector schemers … all the “best people”.

He lost, and can’t get over it. But you can… maybe... in a few years. 😆

On some level, this is like the final stage of his "reality" TV career.

When Trump was recruited for The Apprentice, he was pretty well washed up. Watch the "Confidence Man" episode of the Netflix series "Dirty Money" for more context. Basically, they remade him from a fading and failing 80s "billionaire" into "The Donald." The show was a hit...at first. Then after a few seasons of diminishing ratings, the producers re-invented it as "The Celebrity Apprentice." It worked, and along the way Trump actually started to believe that he was the character they'd created for him. He managed to parlay a weekly TV show into a branding opportunity, and made a lot of money selling "the illusion" (to borrow a term from the Hunter Biden thing) that he was still this successful real estate magnate.

But Trump bought into the hype so completely that he thought he would make a great President. Somehow, Palpatine returned it actually worked, and he got elected.

That show ran for a few seasons, and like the other iterations of The Apprentice, went downhill at the end...to put it mildly. Trump doesn't seem to grasp that the show is over. He thinks that if he can just get enough "likes" or clicks on his social media site, and if his polling among the base keeps beating Ron "DeSanctimonious" he's somehow immune to all these charges. He just types out messages in ALL CAPS, stages a rally, and he's immune.

He doesn't understand what's happening. His show was cancelled 2 1/2 years ago.

Mike Pence screwed Trump. It seems as all this election theft plotting started with Trump, in all his interactions with Trump, Pence kept copiouss detailed notes. Many meetings with Trump were done without Trump's lawyers in the loop, since they were telling Trump all the claims of illegal votes were false. The interesting thing here is Pence has been trying to avoid publically commenting on what he knew was going on with Trump's election stealing crimes. It is going to be hard from here on out to remain vague and uncommunicative.

Probably shouldn't have put a vaguely worded hit out on him then.

Looks like she is a no nonsense, no BS judge who will be fair but tough. She has already slapped Trump down once. Racist tirades from the GOP to start in 3, 2, 1...

And let me introduce to you, Judge Tanya Chutkan:

:View attachment 43894

Good fuckin’ luck, dickweed!

Nice picture, but why is she bad news for Donald Trump?

See

Judge assigned to Trump case previously said ‘the country is watching to see what the consequences are’ for January 6

Of the 21 DC judges who have handled January 6 cases, she’s given out the harshest sentences.

She was selected at random. I’m sure the conspiracy theorists will disagree.
