What will Trump do between now and January 20 at noon

What Trump has been doing is rage tweeting, golfing, and not much more. Lawsuits started by various MAGAT weinies over this election are being tossed out of court. Trump will do a lot of barking and rage tweeting an not much more. If a loser wants to have a recount, they have to pay for it unless an election is so close it is mandated. In Georgia, that is 0.5%. 73 days to go and Trump is out of there officially. Then the lawsuits start and his looming debts he has to service start looming large.

I suspect a lot of silly books will be written, er, dictated by Trump and his toadies, and grifting family.

I am so looking forward to the tell-alls by everyone else, though.

He MIGHT suit thru a brief, ask some questions (maybe auestions Vlad asked him to ask), then run off and write down the details where no one is watching, but that will mean he has to rely on his memory. I'm unimpressed by his ability to recall details about things he doesn't really understand, like weapons, troop movements, physics, decimals, the bible....

Yeah. Let him do that all he wants. Putin would have the sense to throw it all in the trash anyway.

A little-known Trump appointee is in charge of handing transition resources to Biden — and she isn’t budging

A Trump administration appointee is refusing to sign a letter allowing President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team to formally begin its work this week, in another sign the incumbent president has not acknowledged Biden’s victory and could disrupt the transfer of power.

The administrator of the General Services Administration, the low-profile agency in charge of federal buildings, has a little-known role when a new president is elected: to sign paperwork officially turning over millions of dollars, as well as giving access to government officials, office space and equipment authorized for the taxpayer-funded transition teams of the winner.

It amounts to a formal declaration by the federal government, outside of the media, of the winner of the presidential race.

But by Sunday evening, almost 36 hours after media outlets projected Biden as the winner, GSA Administrator Emily Murphy had written no such letter. And the Trump administration, in keeping with the president’s failure to concede the election, has no immediate plans to sign one. This could lead to the first transition delay in modern history, except in 2000, when the Supreme Court decided a recount dispute between Al Gore and George W. Bush in December.

Story continues..

So officially disrupting the smooth transfer of power. Fuck Trump and his evil cabal.

He now seems to be steeling himself to order a tactical strike on Iran -- he is nuts enough to do it -- which he will justify by saying that he knew Biden would never restrain the Iranians and so he had to do it to save the world etc., etc. If he does, he will have raced the crazy stakes to a stratospheric level and inspired generations of terrorism at a rate we haven't dreamed of.

Trump fires top cybersecurity official Christopher Krebs

President Trump announced on Twitter on Tuesday night that he was firing top cybersecurity official Christopher Krebs, whose agency recently issued a statement that the 2020 presidential election was secure. Until now, Krebs was the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency within the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Trump claimed, falsely and with no evidence, that a statement from Krebs' CISA calling the 2020 election the most secure in history was "highly inaccurate." Mr. Trump's legal team has failed thus far to present credible evidence of mass fraud, and Joe Biden is the president-elect.

They haven't produced evidence of ANY fraud, not a single fucking instance anywhere.

That's not entirely true.

They found one. A guy had voted twice in one of the states (PA?) using his own name, and attempting to forge the signature of his dead mother.

....he voted for trump. :D

New Trump rule could cost waiters more than $700 million in lost wages by allowing employers to take more of their tips to pay other workers

A new rule published by the Department of Labor on Tuesday would allow restaurant owners to take employees' tips to pay "back-of-the-house" workers such as cooks and dishwashers.

An analysis by the Economic Policy Institute found that change could cost workers more than $700 million.

The regulation would also allow employers to require tipped employees to perform more nontipped labor like cleaning.

"It's really, really clear this is about the interests of corporate executives and shareholders," Heidi Shierholz, an economist at EPI, told Business Insider.

Does America have a shortage of pitchforks and burning brands? Are you unable to source tar or feathers? Because there seems to be no rational explanation for your workers' continuing reluctance to rise up and revolt against the continuing abuses heaped upon them by a tiny class of evil bastards who have worked out that you can become a billionaire by simply stealing a few bucks each from a large number of poor people; And poor people don't have the resources to fight back lawfully.

And the people most likely to grab a pitchfork really think they're hard work and maybe a lottery away from being one of the billionaire pirate class.
So thry vote these assholes in.
Then go home and listen to music about how hard work always leads to poverty. Patriots die in war. Love of a beautiful woman will come to cheating. Dogs die.

It's really a lot like Huey Long, "every man a king, acres and acres of diamonds" and all that crap.

It's interesting speaking with that mindset where they feel persecuted and cheated, they should have all been kings and filthy rich but they were cheated out of their wealth and destiny. The thought never occurs to them that maybe they're just full of self pity and shit. I suppose that if I'd stayed in many of those dying jobs and places I might have developed the same mentality.

But that's Trumpo, he feels like he's being bullied when in fact he's the one doing the bullying. His supporters want to be successful grifters too and they feel cheated out of their riches. The poor dear...the poor dears... So we've got to get even and do as much damage as we can because we deserve to. Sick fucks.

Goddamn this is a weird time to be alive. Trump is utterly bizarre as a human and especially as a putative leader (the embodiment of a society's ideals, right?) He is, conceivably, legit mentally ill. Anyone else out there wondering about the historians who will take on this era? As much as Trump is trying to confine the body parts, slime, and unidentifiable putrescence to a lockbox in the basement at Trump Tower, there will be thousands of horrors that come out. I'm torn between the desire to know it all, at Robert A. Caro length, and the realization that at heart it will be petty and infuriating, like the subject.

Trump’s final 10 accomplishments:

1. An unfathomably high amount of document shredding.
2. Sunrise yoga on the National Mall.
3. Finally follow through on campaign pledge to stand in middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody.
4. Hold yard sale to raise money for legal battles and recounts.
5.Award Twitter user @920274749_000 the Presidential Medal of Valor for unwavering support over past four years.
6. Humor the hapless boys and girls in intelligence by listening to even one morning briefing.
7. Honor the teachings of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
8. Install ultrasonic alarms to torment Joe Biden’s dogs 24 hours a day.
9. Get his father’s ghost to say one kind thing.
10. As presidential tradition goes, leave the country in a worse place than he found it.

Shamelessly stolen from the onion.

Pence hasn't disagreed with a single thing his president has said or done in the last four years. He's tried to be the perfect christian gentleman, obedient, patient, unassuming, incompetent to a fault, loyal, a slave to his worship object. I can only guess that jesus told him to go chill with some muslims, someone else will be licking his lord's ass.
