Not enough. I get that being a good director means being a bit obsessively controlling and demanding. I very much understand that to many film makers, actors are nothing more than props so that the director can tell ( their) version of somebody else’s story. The second part: not viewing actors as thinking, feeling human beings is the part that is really messed up. It’s worse for women than men and much, much worse for minors than adults. Think of how many former child actors develop substance abuse issues. Part of my perception that women are more likely to be victimized and treated as props could be that women are more likely to speak out.

How many are good directors, as in good human beings who are good directors? I don’t know. Ron Howard leaps to mind.

But isn't just with the last decade that scenes with nudity actually took the woman's dignity into thought?

Eh. Some women have had enough star power to limit what portions of their body could be on camera for a good long while. And of course, there were censors. Unfortunately, once people decided that censors were bad, a lot of pressure was put on women to show more ( all) skin. It has happened gradually and much like easy access to birth control pills removed women’s out re: sex they didn’t really want, so did the removal of censors remove the valid objections for women. Somehow, there has been far less pressure for men to do full frontal or even to show exposed buttocks.

First time I saw naked female breasts exposed in a movie theater was about 1969.

Yes, I want politicians to do whatever they can, exhaust every avenue, to release those files. That includes appeals they know they will lose so they can say they made the attempt as they move to the next option. It will build stronger justification in the long run. "See, I tried this and was blocked, so now I am trying that" makes more sense than "I didn't even bother trying this before trying that."

Your claim was that she was "massively abused". The article does not back up your claim.
It is true that she feels exploited in hindsight of several decades and changes in societal attitudes toward how teenage sexuality is portrayed, but that is not the same as being "abused" on set, much less "massively" so.
