A friend has a son that enlisted two weeks ago. He failed out of boot camp for inability to meet the physical requirement of the 1.5 mile run.
I wonder if his recruiter has called him back, offering to spot him five minutes on the run?

I know fuck all about the US military, but wouldn't the first tactic be to entice all the experienced enlisted near the end of their tours to stay rather than lower standards for new recruits?

Troops are getting deployed or redirected from their prior mission. It's only a matter of time before people are going to end up dead because of this. This isn't some contractor, or an airstrike against some random base. That you seem incapable of understanding this while trying to 'win the argument' just undermines any sense of charity anyone should give your arguments.

It all looks suspicious and too coincidental. Plane was only 3 years old and appears to crashed without much warning.

OK, never mind, there was almost 4 hours between attack and crash and it crashed right after taking off.
Still, iranians can't get a break, stampede and now thsi crash.

How many opponents have North Korea or South Korea killed over the past few decades, without it having to devolve back into a full blown war?

There is something about the people that want punishment. They feel like they won't be able to breath again until someone gets punished. The reality is that sometimes it isn't worth the cost. We know Derec wouldn't pay a dime of the cost with a shooting war with Iran... I mean except at the gas pump.

So, is this was safer looks like? What is incredible is that we still really haven't had any info out of DC regarding the attack. I also heard that his core mission statement was to get foreign powers and influence, especially the USA, out of Iran. Can hardly blame him for being the monster he was given that the USA has literally surrounded his country. Another theory, Iranians mistook it for american response to their attack of US base in Iraq and shot it down.
