Out of continuity... but this made me think of TarantuLove.
Cupid loses a bet with Minerva and has to take on Arachne's curse for a time. He's transformed into a giant spider, and now pounces on, and bites couples to make them fall in love... Briefly... Before their excruciating, simultaneous deaths.
Elvura, a plucky coroner, races to discover why they keep finding unlikely couples dead and holding hands.
