Following a Zeteo investigation into a no-bid ICE contract awarded to a company owned by a Republican donor, Democrats on the House Committee on Homeland Security launched an inquiry on Friday, demanding the Trump administration provide answers about its use of the sole-source contract.

In an oversight letter sent to acting ICE director Todd Lyons, Reps. Bennie Thompson (Miss.) and Shri Thanedar (Mich.) pressed the agency to explain how and why the $2.25 million contract for 25 SUVs was awarded without competition to Hendrick Motorsports LLC, a company owned by prolific Republican donor Joseph Riddick "Rick" Hendrick III.

FTFY. Having a US Passport, and even a US birthplace, won't protect you if you look foreign.

Oh, the passport is the first thing to be confiscated. Criminals don't deserve to present "evidence" of citizenship.

One of the things that really pisses me off about these ICE immigration "operations" is the bold faced lying.

News is that they are coming to Massachusetts again.

The Trump administration has started an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation in Massachusetts, saying it was targeting “the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens living in the state.”

Boston has very low crime. Immigrants are not the source of crime. Pam Bondi is an evil lying sack of shit.

It's so clear from their previous roundups that they are not after criminals. They are after ordinary hard working people whose documents may not be 100% in order. I'd bet that fewer than 1% of the people that they snatch off the street are actual criminals.

This is the thing with EVERY SINGLE ONE of Trump's Departments. They LIE LIE LIE. NOTHING spewed from any Trump appointee can he taken at face value. They fucking lie lie lie.
