Split Biden or Trump too old?

To notify a split thread.
So more cherry picked moments. So not exactly five straight minutes.
Can you cherry pick similar examples for Obama, Clinton or even Bush?
One of my favorites:

Sorry man, does not compare to the Biden video at all.

Well, you just asked for an example and I gave you one. How you compare it is up to you I guess. There’s many more examples just a quick YouTube search away.

If one is already biased against Biden it’s not likely anything will compare.

But let’s say, for argument’s sake that both men are intellectually equal in their qualifications as POTUS. The absolute fact is that only one of these people attempted to overthrow the results of a free and fair election.
Biden is senile, vote for RFK

OTOH, there are many, many videos that show that Trump struggles to string two coherent sentences together.
That's not a definitive sign of dementia. Moreover, people with dementia can appear as putting coherent sentences together just fine, problem is, this is nothing more than "tape recorder" automatic type of speech. Definitive sign of dementia is a short term memory loss.

Wow. You must not see many videos of Trump. Frankly, while he was POTUS, he was displaying signs of dementia.
Not really, he was not.
Biden has not, as far as I can tell.
He is 100% displaying classical signs of dementia, period.
The word "aging" some doctors use is a code word for "early" stage of dementia.
But it's ridiculous, because in their classification dementia is when person is running naked and covered in shit.
You don't know what you're talking about here and I seriously doubt you have the experience or qualifications to identify common symptoms of dementia. In all of my years as a professional nurse who cared for people with various types of dementia, not once did I hear a physician use the term "aging" to equate with dementia. And, while I have seen 2 or 3 people with dementia forget to dress or remove their clothing at inappropriate times, I've never seen one running naked and covered in shit, so stop making up shit. Short term memory loss is the most common symptoms of early dementia and Trump displays that frequently, as several of us have given recent examples. One more thing, Trump is obviously mentally ill, and mental illness is a risk factor for dementia. I just read an article about that yesterday, although to be honest, the article didn't specifically mention narcissism and psychopathy, which Trump has very obvious symptoms of both. I don't want a psychopathic narcissist to have another term as my president.

Of Bush? Are you kidding me? W had issues talking, but he also had issues of being way out of his league.
It appears the comparison he is looking for is a series of 10 second clips taken completely out of context of an 80 year old George Bush pausing silently during a press conference. He’s right that we may not be able to provide that given that Bush isn’t 80 nor giving press conferences.

We could discuss W's pause in the Presidential debate. Of course, at the time, the question wasn't about dementia, but whether there was someone talking to him in an ear piece.

You clearly have not actually seen videos of Trump as POTUS. Or as a candidate in 2016.

Maybe Russia is different. Aging is not the same thing as dementia. Many people live into their 80's, 90's, even 100's without dementia. Their mental acuity is perhaps not what it was when they were 45 but that's different than dementia.

Biden isn't senile; RFK is unlikely to be on any ballot for the national election and even if he were, he is exceedingly dishonest and who knows what else his problems are, except many in number.

There hasn’t been a sane member of that family alive since the 60s. So of course a Putler pusher endorses him.

A vote for RFK will accomplish at best absolutely nothing.

I dunno, I saw a Haley voter surmising that if Haley didn't make it to the general election ballot, she might vote for RFK.
Not voting for orange is ... something.

That is peculiar. If the reasonable strong conservative isn't on the ballot, I'm voting for the whack job.

That person could actually just "not vote for orange", but I see what you're saying.

Lots of conservatives and a not inconsiderable number of people who identify as liberal have an issue with voting for a woman and/or a person of color/first generation American no matter how assimilated she is.

But the person Elixir was referring to supported Haley and wanted to vote for Haley in the general election. Her claim was she might vote for RFK instead of Trump if/when Trump is the nominee. Which again, is just odd. Haley is a viable candidate. In a normal universe, she'd likely win, even against Biden. She has the sense of a moderate, though she is pretty far to the right, just the political side of the right, not the "burn it all down" alt-right. To say that you support Haley, but would consider voting for a crackpot like RFK if Haley wasn't on the ballot is just nonsensical.

She could still write in Haley, who in the case of Trump being the Republican nominee would have just as much chance of winning the Presidency as RFK.
