Rabbit. I love rabbit cooked any way, even just grilled. Of course it must be a baby bunny for that.
My mother did make a venison pate' loaf once for Thanksgiving dinner. She had hit a deer with her car two days before and decided to have it for the big meal. She was sad that my brother snuck into the dining room and drew tire tracks on the pate' loaf.
Saturday night:
Had foie gras parfait and venison with my parents and girlfriend.
Why eating something (foie gras) that requires extreme cruelty to animals to be produced?
Didnt you know that or do you not care?
Great, now this can-of-worms that had fizzled out and died is re-opened so I can spend my Sunday defending myself from attacks.

If you brought red wine and crackers, I got your back, bro.

That sounds very gay to me. Are you going to defend yourself against Bronzage who's going to have your back rousseau?
Anyone fail to see a morality problem there? Or, is this just another chat that belongs in the Lounge?
I've never had the pleasure of tasting venison. I imagine it tasting like veal only tougher? I have tried crocodile. That tastes like chicken.

You're supposed to say, "That sounds very gay to me, not that there's anything wrong with that."
If we have failed to see the morality problem, perhaps you have failed to properly identify it. Humans kill other species of animals and eat them. Sometimes we select certain animals and give them special treatment before we kill them. Sooner or later, we kill them and eat them.
Please specify the exact moral failing here, and maybe we can bring it into better focus.

Well since we do process animals for food, and we process animals in the name of science, and we process animals in the name of enlightenment and entertainment (that's a big coupling) perhaps we should use other than codes appropriate for humans for animals. Yet here we are arguing human codes for animals. That's a huge moral failing.
Over to you Bronzeage. Bring it into focus.

It's for that reason that I will refuse to eat meat knowing the animal has been killed inhumanly, like halal slaughtering methods.
It is often important to prevent suffering in animals that you are about to kill for food, because stress can render the meat tough, or introduce unpleasant flavours.
This does not appear to be a problem with goose liver pate, however.
I suppose that's why running a herd of buffalo over a cliff always resulted in hard to chew steaks.
