Underseer should have said GOP. Many people in the law enforcement agencies are Republicans. Comey was/is... who knows. Mueller is a Republican. Yet the GOP is selling this con-job idea that there is a Deep State insurrection against Trump.

I'm sorry, but I've been voting in and following US elections since 1972 and I have NEVER seen this distinction made. In my lexicon, the two are identical. There is no differentiation.

Imagine if Trump were a Democrat. Who would be the prosecutor but a Republican, an extremely partisan one?

On MSNBC, a bunch of legal experts point out that if Trump knew the Russians were digging up dirt on Clinton and offering to Trump's camp, and after that, Trump asked Russia to find Clinton's missing emails, he may well have crossed the legal line and been guilty of conspiracy. It is going to get messy from here on out.
 
Trump better hurry up and pardon him.

I actually have a hard time believing that Trump didn't cross a pretty large legal line when he publicly told the Russians to look into Hillary's emails. He was out and out inviting a hostile foreign power to interfere in our elections. I was stunned and I always thought less of Trump than what I scrape off the bottom of my shoe if I've been walking in a cow pasture. I could not believe that alone did not merit charges and immediate disqualification from the political race. And I was even more stunned that all my God fearing, Constitution loving, draft dodging, flag honoring, vet thanking relatives did not turn their backs on him immediately. But I guess that for some people, having the chance to vote for someone who reflects their own image is irresistible. Honestly, all those who worship St. Regan with Alzheimers should at least have the decency to honor their patron saint's hatred of Russians.
 
I wonder if Mueller has a big cork board in his office with lots of pictures and push pins and red strings all over the place.

You're right. That little thing right there is HYUUge. It probably deserves a whole thread as a charge could come out of it directly at Trump.

I think some of the strings end in tags saying 'See board 2A in Conference Room 2 for breakdown.'
