I've never been a fan of Buffalo as they were tops in the East back when I was a kid. But I did start feeling for them, sans the Rex Ryan years. Hopefully Allen is going to be alright and Bills do well this year. They stuffed the Patriots offense which had seemed unstoppable. Belichick must have busted a vein in his forehead after the 8th penalty conceded by New England. On the other hand, the Patriots have given up 13 points on defense this year in four games, 27 in all. The Bears are second in that category with 45. Granted, the Bears didn't play the Jets and Dolphins (though they did play Washington).
Oh, I forgot about that hit. Brutal, although Allen put himself in that position and lowered his helmet. I think I agree with no suspension.
It's tough to compare Bears and Pat's on defense, b/c besides the lesser competition Pat's have faced (Steelers are also very weak competition) there is the fact that the Bear's offense is weaker and that impacts points that the their defense will give up.
I just hope the Bears don't do what they did with Grossman and waste a world class defense by taking too long to realize their QB sucks and is losing them games that a solid game manager would win, such as Superbowl 41.
