Putin played Cheato like a cheap fiddle.
That's what you get when you elect a moron.

The Americans had two bad choices and it's a matter of opinion who the worst one is.

Thank you captain obvious.
Horrible Hillary would have been horrible, but the SCOTUS would be in better shape.
Cheato might be the only person in North America who would make a worse president, as he is so aptly demonstrating,

You're welcome. Any time:)

Yeah: utter incompetence, boobery, crassness, daily disgrace, loss of esteem, loss of healthcare, and rapid degradation of relations with our closest allies vs. competence, experience, and predictability was a such a horrible choice.

I used the English naughty version of interfered. :)

Now I understand why you thought that there was no proof of Russians interfering with US elections. No, that's not what interfering means.

I was commenting on the statement 'interfering with Trump.' That would be interfering with Trump's erection not election.

The Choice was between Hilary Clinton and Trump to see who would win the unpopularity contest.

Donald Trump, Jr. released a fascinating official statement regarding his meeting with a Russian attorney that has recently be reported in the press. He said that he was promised "information helpful to the campaign" regarding Clinton being supported by individuals connected to Russia, but he decided the attorney "had no meaningful information."

Isn't that flat-out admission of an attempt to collude with Russians attempting to affect the campaign? A proper response would of course have been to notify the appropriate law enforcement officials of a report that campaign laws were being violated and let the investigative agencies determine if it was legitimate.

Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner were also at the meeting, but apparently they all "forgot" to mention that they went to the meeting get damaging information about Clinton in their initial foreign contacts disclosures.

"We were all promised that the Russian attorney had several kilos of cocaine at a discount price, but as it turns out the person we were supposed to meet with was a DEA agent trying to entrap people attempting to buy large quantities of drugs. Since we're not actually drug dealers, and the agent didn't really have the kilos of drugs in question, it all amounts to a big misunderstanding. No harm, no foul."

Right? I keep trying to read this from a perspective of: his lawyers told him to say this because of [give reasons]. But this makes no sense at all.

He's fucking lying about something, but what he's admitting to seem enough to file an attempt to collude at a minimum. So the natural question is: what really went on and how much more is there, rapidly followed up by asking what Fuckstick Sr. knew and when did he know it.

And of course, aren't the goddamn Republicans going to do something???

I'm similarly baffled. Maybe someone from the campaign has flipped over to Mueller's side so they know they are caught and are trying to preemptively reduce their sentences.

Sad thing is, I won't be surprised if Trump Sr. doesn't know anything. He is that fucking clueless.

And of course, aren't the goddamn Republicans going to do something???

Nothing will (or should) happen until Mueller's final report is released. We have to be patient.

You're right that we have to be patient, but............damn.

The extent of the damage potentially being done literally every minute may be irreparable.

Better make sure the evidence is correct first. At the moment if this declassified report is anything to go by it is still somewhat speculative (aka assessment)

ESTIMATIVE LANGUAGE
Estimative language consists of two elements; judgements about the likelihood of developments or events occurring and levels of confidence in the sources and analytic reasoning supporting the judgements.
Judgements are not intended to imply that we have proof that shows something to be a fact. Assessments are based on collected information, often incomplete or fragmentary, as well as logic, argumentation and precedents.

And

High Confidence: Generally indicates that judgements are based on high-quality information from multiple sources. High confidence in judgement does not imply that the assessment is a fact or certainty; such judgements may be wrong.

So as I keep saying there is nothing to conclude at this moment.

Need to remember, these people don't have lawyers that know this sort of law.

Here is the deal Donnie J. The press knew about the meeting, which means fucking much smarter than you Special Counsel Mueller knows about it. And they know about it because of intercepts, which means they know what the meeting was really about.

Granted, VP Spiro Agnew publicly lied while negotiating his resignation.

He's fucking lying about something, but what he's admitting to seem enough to file an attempt to collude at a minimum. So the natural question is: what really went on and how much more is there, rapidly followed up by asking what Fuckstick Sr. knew and when did he know it.

And I think Mueller already knows the answers. Lets be frank. Mueller has already hired mob and money laundering lawyers. This implies shit is much further along that the Trump Admin appreciates.

The big orange pantload most likely knew too, going by where and when it was held.

I've always found it illuminating to see what the Drudge Report's take on these issues is from day to day. Often, when the news is bad for Trump, the headline will be an attempt to deflect. Maybe an unflattering photo of Hillary, or the latest Rasmussen poll results which puts Donnie just above 50% approval. Every now and then, though, Matt is forced to confront reality, and let the actual headline news be his headline.

This is one of those times.

At the moment, the headline is (in red) "THE EMAIL" under a photo of the Kremlin.

The big orange pantload most likely knew too, going by where and when it was held.

The timing of his tweets and debate comments sure seem to indicate that he knew.

Which makes his public request to Russia for Clinton's missing emails on the campaign trail even more chilling. Perhaps it wasn't just incredibly stupid "joking" bravado. It was essentially code to the Russians requesting information. His request was on July 26th.
