Merged So what's next for Trump?

To denote when two or more threads have been merged
The GOP is blowing their lungs out about Biden corruption, yadda, yadda. Well, if they want to have investigations...
What corruption?

One admitted they don't actually have anything.
If we just start the impeachment process we’re sure we’ll find something worth starting the impeachment process over.

It's so nice that "Man of the people" Trump is willing to pay for all of his minion's legal fees.

Oh wait...

It is seldom a pleasant experience when you find out that you've been scammed. Others must now be feeling the pressure. Trump can't pay his lawyers and buy off all of the witnesses at the same time. Others must now be feeling doubts as well. Rudy Giuliani seems to be particularly stressed, now that he has been hoisted by his own RICO petard.

This is an interesting YouTube video about a podcasting supporter who has realized the truth. The video title implies it is an epiphany in the video, but it isn't.

Well the IT guy from Mar-a-Lago has flipped. He has switched attorneys, now has a public defender, and has retracted his previous testimoney.

I wonder if this was another case of the lawyer acting in the interest of the paymaster and not the client. That sort of stunt can cost you your license.

There are a ton of conflicts of issues for Trump trial lawyers. Cannon should be disbarred for not addressing any of it. Though the Prosecutor is bringing it up, mainly because he doesn't want convictions thrown out on appeal or he wants people to turn to make the cake walk a little more cakey.

I wonder if this was another case of the lawyer acting in the interest of the paymaster and not the client.
You really WONDER about that?
Seriously?
Every time a defendant fires their Trump-paid lawyer and gets one who works in their own interest instead of Trump’s, they immediately flip on him. Doesn’t leave a lot of room for speculation about what’s going on there.

It kinda does.

To get a job like that, the guy had to have serious MAGA credibility. What might have caused him to flip after that?

The most plausible reason I can think of is that he knew how many rats were getting ready to flee the sinking ship. And that the first couple of rats would probably get way better deals from the prosecutors than rats #17 or 31.

Wheee...

I don’t think there were 17 rats involved in the documents/obstruction case. But naughty Nauta and DeOliviera are in deep shit now.

They don't have to be important rats, like this guy apparently is. Some maids or something who knew that the stuff was there could cause a lot of trouble for people accustomed to a staff that is "discrete".

I dunno.

ETA ~It just makes me smile to think about the whole thing. :) ~

Maybe. There are downsides for the prosecution to bringing in testimony from too many small fish though. If they get Nauta or DeOliviera to flip, they don’t need anyone else for a conviction. I don’t think there could be a lot more co-conspirators or we’d have heard about them.

Quite true.
But a few lowly pool staffers willing to testify that "That room by the pool had a lot of visitors. The one that got raided by the FBI? I didn't know why anyone was interested. But they were." could cause a lot of damage.

He's supposedly going to host a $100,000 per plate dinner at his Bedminster Shithole, proceeds going to Rudy of the melting hair. Obviously Orange Blowhole is worried that melting hair might flip. Money does talk and melting hair is in deep financial shit. Orange Pussy grabber might be worried that melting hair is gonna need cash so bad that he'll rat out pussy grabber or worse. Pussy grabber never paid melting hair for his efforts to steal the election.

In just a few hours, Trumo is due to appear in Georgia for his arrest, finger printing, and a mug shot. And to have his bond set. And I suspect read the riot act about harassing people involved in this case. Circus clown antics are expected.

As Orange pussy grabber was heading to the airport from Bedminster there was an ambulance in the motorcade. I wouldn't put it past pussy grabber to fake illness so he can delay the trial.

That doesn't prove dishonest behavior on the part of the lawyer. That could just be that His Flatulence won't pay the bills of someone who flips.

Supposedly he was holding a press conference last Monday.

When did Giuliani become a charity case?
Just show us this evidence.

Show us the beef.
