How was the election supposedly stolen?

Recently revealed tapes of Guiliani demonstrate that even he knew and admitted that there was not evidence for any stolen election. Guiliani also admitted to hoping Pence would have chosen the fake electors to throw the election to Trump. Guliani is going
To be an interesting witness when that finally goes to trial. As are these hitherto secret tapes.

I would recommend you actually watch coming from the horses mouth, from time stamp 1:21 to 1:45 :

Rudy Guiliani certainly does have me convinced that he at least believes the election was indeed stolen. And he was in a position to actually know what happened during the election of Trump vs Biden.

Believe or not I'm not really interested in arguing for Trump or whether he gets elected again. It would suit me just fine if he would step aside and let someone younger and less divisive take the Republican nomination. That being said, I'm not at all convinced that US elections are honest at this point. I also continue not to believe that Bush really won against Gore during that close election either.

Our election process does need to be fixed so that close elections can be believed by everyone. And you and others laughing about this and not taking it seriously is a big part of the problem IMHO.

So, he lies. Doesn't make the election stolen. If it were they would have some decent evidence by now but all they have is junk.

Rudy Guiliani certainly does have me convinced…
7 little words that have me convinced of something.
Anyone who is convinced of ANYTHING by Rudi Patooti can be safely disregarded as a rational human.

And with zero credible evidence despite all the propaganda. You are priceless. I will make sure Santa doesn't forget you this year.

Someone needs to tell Rudi!
He would be amazed and delighted to learn that he actually convinced someone of his lies.

No no. They have lots of evidence. It’s all on that pillow guy’s mobile phone. They’re just waiting for the right time to release it all.

I very, very very strongly recommend you stop mistaking podcasts about anecdotal bullshit as evidence or proof.
Believe or not I'm not really interested in arguing for Trump or whether he gets elected again.
I know which way I would lean.
That being said, I'm not at all convinced that US elections are honest at this point.
Is that because there is evidence, or is it because your proclivities lead towards sensationalist rhetorical crap typically found in hour long youtube clips?

My counter argument with regards to right wingers and Q-tards bitching about elections is pretty straight forward. Since the 2020 election, Texas has been offering up to a million dollars in reward money for anyone who has proof the election was stolen. Do your own research and see how many people have come forward to claim that reward money. If election fraud was a thing and not just a political talking point, Texas would have paid up by now.

Even this EXTREMELY credulous RW poster, cannot, despite numerous asks, provide any scenario whereby Trump was wrongfully denied an electoral victory in 2020.
When I say EXTREMELY credulous, I mean SO credulous that they don’t even realize that they have provided ZERO evidence of electoral fraud.
But they are convinced.
By Rudi.
‘Nuff said?

It isn't so much that people are just full of shit because people are for sure full of shit lots of times. The behavior we're witnessing is an evolved response to disappointment and defeat. It isn't conscious denial but rather a function of the PFC. The behavior certainly has survival value but unfortunately doesn't account for the quality of that survival. It's similar to a drug addict getting their fix. It's a short term fix that feels great but doesn't accomplish anything beyond the immediate reward.

My own struggle has to do with accepting that truth, facts and honest introspection are de facto casualties of the conflict, regardless of who/what prevails in reality. Solving the right's Sour Grapes psychosis is far beyond my pay grade anyhow.

Considering RVonse believes Giuliani is worth listening to, let's hear what he has to say behind closed doors when he thinks no one is listening;

"I've read that. I can't prove that". When a lawyer says that, they fucking know they are lying.

And of course there is the leaked conversation between Abbey Grossberg and Peter Navarro

That RVonse still believes election fraud is a thing despite the mountains of evidence that shows even Trump's team never believed it kinda shows how far gone some people are.

For the record when Navarro is captioned as saying [INAUDIBLE] it’s “Katie bar the door”. How could they miss that?

Most likely because the transcript was being typed by a 20 something intern and then looked over by a 30 something assistant producer. The only reason I know of the colloquialism is because I'm a Harry Turtledove fan.

Here’s a link to an article you might like that details some of the allegations of voter fraud that the right wing is making:

It goes through a few of the states and the issues with each of them. But I have had a hard time finding sites that specifically debunk these allegations.

I also found this site about Georgia too: https://voterga.org/

The problem is that there are so many different and new allegations that it is impossible to keep up with all of them. We need a good website dedicated to debunking each of the allegations specifically.

The only specific allegation I could find debunked was the Pennsylvania myth: https://apnews.com/article/fact-checking-afs:Content:9887147615

It's easier to make crap than rebut it. So long as one piece of crap remains unrebutted they'll believe it. (And the left is guilty of this, also, just over different things.)

I can't imagine what anyone finds convincing about what Rudy claims without evidence... is that how you watch sports ball games? When the other team claims a foul has occurred you are immediately positive that a foul must then have occurred and any claim that the other team is just making shit up to try to win is some kind of dishonesty and refusal to consider another view of reality?

ETA: I suppose many people do this... but only when it is their "team" that stands to improve their standing... because people are inherently dishonest, IMO.

Hi SLD. ALLEGATIONS do not need to be "debunked"... they first need to be supported with evidence and then the evidence can be examined for validity in supporting the allegation.
Here's an allegation: SLD is selling meth to kindergartners. Now, find me the website that debunks this.

Similarly, the Right Wingnuts that claim that "evidence" was not examined in the determination that the election was not stolen as alleged, were not pieces of legal evidence... they were affidavits by stakeholders that made CLAIMS without evidence... that is why they were not looked at... just like the cops won't be looking at you because I ALLEGE that you might be selling meth to kids.

It's a great legal system whereby we can't throw you in jail because of an allegation by someone that wants you "out of the way". This is a good thing.

That RV is not alone in that delusion even among the small population of this forum, speaks to how widely the insanity of Trumpism has spread. I can’t fathom how it can be so difficult for them to realize they’ve been had. Fool them once, shame on Trump. Fool them DOZENS of times … time for the men in white coats.

Yes. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Trumpsuckers have nothing more than screaming, baseless allegations. Such rants are cheaper than a Trumpsucker’s sister.

And there is a big difference between what you thought I said and what I actually said. The staff at CNN would be proud of you.
