To be fair, we cannot tell from a still photograph whether he may be taking it out of the car.
I think we can. Firstly, it has a flat top of a certain width that seems greater than the door width. But an even better reason is that the object is longer than the car is wide, so the doors would not be able to close even if possible to get the item into the car.
But that isn't as funny.

Whence must one be for “walks” to rhyme with “fox”?
I'm from Kansas. As far as I know, walks rhymes with fox for everybody.
So, “walks” is pronounced “woks”?

How about “talks”?
In Boston, that accent happens. I know from hearing their voices, but I've never been there.

"She wahx five blahx to pahk her cah, and calls ME crazy? I'm crazy like a fahx; I take the T. This is Bahstahn." - Boston resident about a transplant

I was surprised to see Kansas having a similar accent. I used to listen to a 'net radio show from clinic defenders in Wichita, KS, back in the day.

Talks too. Everything on that list. I'm not aware of people who pronounce these differently.

How are walks and fox pronounced when they don't rhyme?
for me “walks” rhymes more with “caulks”, which to fit on this list would have to rhyme with “cocks”. For me walk has the same vowel sound as in “wall” but with a k at the end. Like “aw”. Whereas “fox” is like box with a “baa baa like sheep” sound vowel. They don’t rhyme at all to me, which is why I was surprised to find it on this card I was showing my kid a long time ago.

Thanks. This helps.

I didn't see the difference at first.
But my wife, who is from Denver, and who thinks everything on the card rhymes, pointed out to me that the L in caulks can be pronounced. I pronounce it myself, at least sometimes. Maybe always; I'm not sure.

In Christopher Walken, I pronounce the L always.

In almond, I pronounce the L in the band but not in the food.

Where I grew up, it's pronounced by many people in a similar way to the Dutch "aa" sound: waak the daag. Not a Boston accent, which is more like "ah".

I have never spoken like that, which is why my kids have a hard time believing I grew up there.

Please submit this to the caption contest. I want to know what it ran into, to come out like this.

Please tell me it was Jesus who fucked with the brakes whilst saying "Chinga tu chullo Trump, puta!" The sign makes a lot of sense in that context.

I think the “l” in walks is a little harder to pronounce than words like “caulks” or “balks”. But it is those words that it rhymes with for me and not “cocks” and “box”.

Would “talking” be pronounced the same as “tocking”? Weird.
