I think we can. Firstly, it has a flat top of a certain width that seems greater than the door width. But an even better reason is that the object is longer than the car is wide, so the doors would not be able to close even if possible to get the item into the car.

I had a car like that once. A Mitsubishi Expo.
It was so space efficient I could park another one just like it inside, close the hatch, and drive interstate.
I miss that car.
