RussiaGate

But was it rundown?

Yes. It had not been lived in for years. Even the $95m grift-buyer couldn't use it - it was torn down.
OK, I will believe you, but all it proves is that russian oligarchs are as stupid as some american ones.
And it happened in 2008. 8 years before Trump was elected. Putin probably had not even heard Trump name.

Uh... pay attention barbos. Russia began cultivating Cheato as a tool LONG before that - in fact, back to the Soviet Union days.

When did the KGB open a file on Donald Trump? We don’t know, but Eastern Bloc security service records suggest this may have been as early as 1977.
LOL, you actually ARE crazy.

More like Star Fleet engineer explaining Warp Drive.

Naaahhhh....The matter/anti matter propulsion system is a lot easier...

The difficult part is generating the field that contains the anti matter. One side has to have a "matter" charge while the inside has a "anit matter" charge. And then there is the controlled release of anti matter into the matter stream.
And this is exactly what is pictured on that blackboard.

OH? You didn't read that article, did you? It's a pretty good, objective report on the history and nature of Russia's cultivation of US "contacts" and even the history of Putin's role in that effort.

If you did read the article and think I'm crazy, please point out the parts with which you disagree, and the source of knowledge that leads you to that disagreement.
Thanks!

No, I did not read it.

Your honestly believe that Trump was recruited by KGB in 1977 and his presidency was planned in 1977?

No, I did not read it.

I believe no such thing.
Read the article, and stop being ridiculous. It's not that long, and should be easy to understand for an accomplished linguist like yourself.
Then at least you can argue against something I actually said or might have thought...

Trump was warned mid-July of the campaign that Russia would likely try to infiltrate his campaign and that any suspicious contacts should be reported to the FBI. And yet, none of the documented cases of suspicious contacts were reported. Hmm....

Yeah, that alone would speak to collusion/conspiracy, since it was uniform behavior by numerous Cheato campaign officials. And I understand that there are laws requiring such reporting.
If I were among the 'collusion deniers' like Trausti or Barbos, I'd probably try to hold off on the loud "NO COLLUSION!" pronouncements until Mueller's final report is out. They just might end up looking rather foolish otherwise.

Oh, please. At that point their argument will not only be that "no collusion" isn't part of their point, but that it had never been part of their point to begin with and you're really out of line to suggest that they ever had an issue with the claim that there was collusion.

It's a fact free zone, dude. It's somewhat inappropriate for you to try and use facts as part of your argument.

....despite cheato publicly announcing "no collusion" hundreds of times? #SAD!

Doubleplus #SAD!

The thing is, that's exactly what's going to happen, and tens of millions will go right along with it.

The only thing they haven't said is that they don't give a flying fuck about what we traditionally think of as a "free country." There's a significant segment who would throw us in jail or worse if they could. If somehow, Trump was told he could shut down every media outlet he wanted, he wouldn't hesitate for a second. It'd be all Fox News all the time and his followers would love it. They know it would be an utter trashing of the First Amendment, and they'd support it 100%.

OK, I have read some of it. Nice piece of conspiracy porn. Yeah, KGB was known for trying to recruit everybody, they had lots and lots of snitches in USSR itself. Some of them are are actually presidents of western countries now (I am not talking about Trump).

This plays on both sides of bad. The Trump group didn't contact the FBI. Nor did they think... the FBI or CIA might be listening... and they could get caught up in the net! Which they were.

Barbos, boy are you behind the times.

Trump's lawyers have switched from arguing that Trump didn't collude to arguing that colluding is not illegal. So why are you arguing that the collusion didn't happen like it's still one month ago? Are you just not very good at following directions?

I am not arguing it did not happen. I am arguing it was initiated by Trump, not by russians, otherwise it would work and you would not have known about it.

I couldn't care less who you want to point the finger at. The fact remains that the Russians successfully meddled in the 2016 election, and not one Rethuglican in Congress wants to do shit about it. The trillions in dirty money are regarded as part of the GOP campaign fund.
Oh, and I noticed that you neglected to argue one single point of fact brought up in the article you characterize as "porn".

Absolutely... agree with both...

What I believe many Americans think a "free country" is, is a place where they, individually, have the freedom to dictate what other people are free to do and are not free to do. a "Free country" is one where freedom is doled out by the one for which the country is free.

There is nothing to argue there. There were no relevant information there and you know that.
You elected Trump and try to blame Russia by inventing ridiculous theories which have no basis in reality.

The Russians meddled. They purposefully spread a lot of disinformation in order to smear one candidate. That's on them.

Too many American people were dumb enough to fall for it. That's on us.

Nothing to see here.

Donald Jr didn't directly communicate with Julian Assange.
Jared Kuschner didn't directly asked the Russian Embassy to create a secret communication line to Moscow... for him to use.
Donald Jr, Jared Kuschner, and Paul Manafort didn't meet with representatives of the corporation under investigation for money laundering (and the US District Attorney involved in that investigation was ax'd by Trump) and trying to reverse the Magnitsky Act, under the guise of obtaining intel on Clinton.
Papadopolous didn't attempt to get in touch with Russian officials.
The Trump Campaign and allies didn't spill the beans, hinting they knew additional information was about to be leaked.

None of that happened. Just like none of this wasn't caught on tape or in intelligence gathering. And no one has cooperated with Mueller and the Trump team isn't threatening Mueller being fired because there is nothing to find.

Yes. But when someone is conned, we don't usually blame the mark for being dumb, do we? The conman doesn't get off on grounds of the "they shouldn't have fallen for it in the first place" defense.

Yup. Barbos is playing dumb (I think he's playing) about it. The FACT that there millions and millions of people subjected to the products of Russian-backed trolls and 'bots is not arguable by any sane person. Barbos can scream "nuh uh!" to his heart's content, and it won't change the FACT that this is true and verified.
