Tomato leek quiche tonight, made by hubby. Leeks from farmer’s market, tomatoes from my garden. Co corn on the cob on the side and probably a salad as well.
Mr. Sohy used to make some delicious quiche, but he hasn't made any in years. Maybe I'll ask him if he would make some again. He's been the cook for over ten years, although he does use some of my recipes. His primary talent is doing stir fry dishes, which he's been doing for well over 50 years. We haven't even had any Lebanese food in years, although I think I made some pretty good Lebanese food as well, in the past.
Hubby didn't cook at all when we met. I was no great shakes but I assumed that if I needed food, I'd cook it. And I determined that if he was going to eat food as an adult, he needed to learn to cook as well. Over the years, he has become quite good. When I was working out of town while hubby could walk to work, he took over most of the cooking responsibilities and makes most of our dinners. I do almost all of the baking, not that there is much with all the kids grown up. Even though we are both retired, he still does the bulk of the cooking.
