What are you suggesting? That he will appoint his own Twitter account to be his Press Secretary for himself?

My vote would be to appoint Rush Limbaugh to fill the position, but that is unlikely to manifest. Daily press briefings would consist of 3 hour long spiels about the evil libs and socialists and media elites who hate America. I just have a fondness for the guy, is all.

Alex Jones.

Okay, if this is true, then you win the battle for the worst potential nominee for the next PS:

Lawyers for Sandy Hook families say Alex Jones sent them child porn

I believe she's going to be a test subject in the fight against the terrible disease of Lieabetes.

Meanwhile, as Trump leads us through trade wars and sabre rattling...

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan has "decided not to go forward with his confirmation process." His resignation comes amid reports detailing his contentious divorce, which dragged out over six years.

"Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan, who has done a wonderful job, has decided not to go forward with his confirmation process so that he can devote more time to his family," Trump tweeted.

"I thank Pat for his outstanding service and will be naming Secretary of the Army, Mark Esper, to be the new Acting Secretary of Defense. I know Mark, and have no doubt he will do a fantastic job!" he added.
...even the acting Secretaries are calling it quits!

So 15 cabinet positions. Two are acting Secretaries. Seven more required replacements. I suppose this is what happens when your inner circle is more like an inner dot.

If you picked Acosta being 'next', you win. Acosta had a brilliant career ahead of him, until a Miami Herald article came out that relooked over Epstein's past. Acosta's resignation means that Trump will have four acting secretaries in his cabinet.

Only 10 of the 22 members in Trump's cabinet have survived the roughly 2.5 years of his Administration. Obama, it was 2 (who didn't make it to the end of the term), and one of them was a holdover from the W Administration (Robert Gates).

A news artivle i saw mentioned the shenanigansaround getting the Navy Secreatary to be acting Defense Sec while Trumps pick for defense gets nominated as acting secretary... The Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998 says you cannot be acting in an office while being the nominee.
Also there is a limit of 210 days for someone to be in the office as 'acting'.... meant to promote hiring people that will pass the vetting and fill the office, and limit the impact of temp hires....

Rules, laws - that shit is for little people, not dictators.

Is there that many left over from the original "Very Best People" Cabinet?

There's Mikey, Betsy, Benny, Ricky, Sonny, Stevie, Mrs. McConnell, and Eyore Wilbur. There's a few Cabinet-level people left, but half the actual Cabinet members have quit/been fired/Tweeted out of a job by Trump.

Of those remaining, I can only think of 3 that were remotely qualified for the position in the first place.

Jon Huntsman - Ambassador to Russia resigns

Well, kind of a pointless job when official communication between the two countries is done through the orders from the Kremlin agents who have been put on the White House staff.

But it's a good way to sit back and collect a paycheck without having to do anything.
