I don't know why people are cheering Sanders' departure. When did Trump ever replace someone with a better person?
That's what I'm thinking, too. SHS has shut the fuck up for the last couple of months. What horrors are we gonna get from the replacement?

Going to take a contrary position here...
In some positions, including the Press Secretary of a corrupt administration, I think we actually are better off with her gone and someone who is even a more blatant and outlandish liar to take her place. The worse they are and the more obvious they are about being dishonest, the worse it looks on the Trump administration. SHS actually seems to be a very qualified and expert liar, and she has done a good job of spinning and misleading and deceiving people all the time she has been there.
It is not like she is the Secretary of Defense making key strategic military decisions, which is essential to have the best qualified people hold to keep the dumbass President in check. SHS and the position of Press Secretary do not keep Trump "in check" in any relevant way. Their role is largely to lie, spin, evade, avoid accountability and to do damage control for President Fuckup's public reputation. The more incompetent a person is at doing that, the better off we are for it.

I used to think that, too, Brian, that the worse the behavior, the more it would weaken the fascist. But it doesn't seem to work that way.

In the late 90s, when the internet exploded with cult criticism and the cult itself was not prepared for it (due to Hubbard, in all his magical wisdom, not predicting the internet), I thought that would be the end of the cult. It wasn't. They are still defrauding, enslaving, and abusing people daily. Every time a new case of bad PR happens, people cheer, but little do they know, it won't make a damn bit of difference.

What are you suggesting? That he will appoint his own Twitter account to be his Press Secretary for himself?
My vote would be to appoint Rush Limbaugh to fill the position, but that is unlikely to manifest. Daily press briefings would consist of 3 hour long spiels about the evil libs and socialists and media elites who hate America. I just have a fondness for the guy, is all.
