Of course they can.Cosmologists can't name more than three.And most republicans couldn't even NAME six elements.
They just don't think there's any point in discussing trace amounts of stuff that doesn't matter.
It's a matter of perspective; The universe is made of hydrogen and helium, and trace amounts of some metals.
The solar system is the Sun, Jupiter, and assorted debris.
The Earth is an iron core wrapped in silicon dioxide, with some impurities.
(Including us).
