An old friend played keyboards for Meat Loaf... I feel sorry for him. He left the band to take a gig with Amgen (has degrees in biochem), and left Amgen to do his own startup making human growth hormone. Haven't spoken to him, but I'd be VERY surprised if he and his family are not fully vaxed.
 
I sat next to a therapist on the plane. She said talking to myself is a bad sign in her profession. She could probably help me with tgst.
So i learned ASL to quietly sign to myself.
Four neurologists have told me they could help me with that nervous tic.
 
The Pivot Joke - an attempt at humor thst can become sincere with the slightest encouragement.
As an example, a woman announces her intention to leave tge group and take a shower. A man in the group asks if she needs help, company, a lifeguard, etc. If she says no, he was joking. If she says yes, he follows her down the hall.

Not to be confused with a Drawbridge Joke - an attempted defense made after a serious statement was met with a resounding 'What The FUCK?!!?', whereupon one retreats to, 'The President was joking. Ha ha. Got you.'

When National Geographic wrote articles about the individual states, they had standard closing paragraphs. The Hawaii article ended with a typical, "As we leave the state, seeing the setting sun in our rearview mirror..."
The next month's issue was full of letters asking what state they were driving into when they left Hawaii.
The NEXT month's letters to the editor had suggestions: State of confusion? State of shock?

I was recently on Manitoulin Island, which is the largest Island in a lake in the world. Was right near Lake Manitou, which is the largest lake on an island in a Lake. Treasure Island... also in Manitoulin Island, is third globally for Islands in lakes on islands in lakes.

According to Wikipedia, the meme above is a hoax, I know, I know... I'm as shocked as everyone else that a meme isn't true.

And apparently there is a WIkipedia page on the lake -> island and island -> lake recursion.
